Just saw the update on bungie and am pumped. Up to 4 players on live can play coop campaign. BOOIIIINNNGGGGG!!! So what 3 guys want to play it with me. HYO

Pretty cool, I was planning on playing MM first but maybe some 2-4 man coop would be a better idea. Shame I'm starting school and overloaded that semester, such bad timing.

Oh those elite guys look like douchebags though...still working as a 4 man team in campaign would be sweet no matter how *** the characters look.

And for isnipe, games usually come out on Tuesdays. A lot of other games are being released the same day.

Anyone given any thought to what will happen after H3 comes out in a year or two when we are tired of it like H2 is starting to die and knowing there will not be another one. Or do you think bungie will just keep updating with new maps like crazy for all of eternity or move on to a different shooter style game.

That's kind of scary to see OcR disband after the end of Halo 3. WE BETTER NOT. If we do leave, tell me what games you guys are going for.

If Halo 2 lasted almost 3 years I would assume Halo 3 will last just as long if not longer. Keep in mind because of 4 Person Co-Op they could now release 'Co-Op Missions' or something to keep it freshy fresh.

I have...it may be "corny" but I wouldn't be suprised to see a 'Halo v2' come out, and it would be more or less exactly the same as the original just with the ability to play on xboxlive instead of having to play on LAN. Stuff like that, maybe set up live and clans differently or something.

One thing I've ALWAYS wanted to see with clans would be an actual meaning behind the ranking system. Like each clan would have a maximum number of OL's etc. It would be set up like one clan would be human and one would be covenant. It would have to be balanced right but it would be set up like this.
Human OL-Spartan
Staff-Marines
Member-Soldier
Peon-Recruit
It would be like spartan is regular, marine is like a spartan but w /o shields, maybe can't jump as high or something. Soldier would be no shields, maybe can't hold some weapons or something of that nature, and recruit would be very limited in weapons /ammo, maybe not even be able to drive certain vehicles.

Covenant OL-Elite
Staff-Either sniper /rifle equipped jackal
Member-Shielded jackal /drone
Peon-Grunt

It would be just like the guys you play in campaign, maybe tweek it a bit so it's balanced evenly with the human having some pros and cons and the covenant having some pros and cons. You could really limit the amount of health /abilities of the peon on the humans side so he would be equivalent of a grunt, grunts size and plasma nades could give them a slight advantage anyway. I know it would take a lot of tweeking ot be balanced but I think it could be possible. If clans were set up like that I think having an organized clan like ours would have a lot more meaning, maybe get rep points for 'owning' maps or something, or have one map be your clans home base and if it gets challenged and lost ina game of assault of ctf your clan pays a penalty like loosing a member for a peon or having a member start out with an AR instead of a BR, stuff like that. If it's set up like that it could kind of be fun forever.
