All of that he does is absolutely real and not a set up, the guy is just as savy as possible about controlling peoples subconscious thoughts.

If you notice when he goes to shake his hand (puts the target in a confused state..."Why the hell is this guy shaking my hand?" ) he breaks subconscious patterns of regularly shaking the hand and holds the guys hand in his left hand for some time, further confusing him. I only know a little bit about psychology /hypnosis but I'm sure it's an extremely sophistocated operation he has going.

If you also notice he mirros the guys actions when giving directions (I only know thats how to tell if a girl is into you but I assume it goes both ways) creating a sort of subconscious bond and then the scammer steps back and the victim steps foward towards him, meaning the scammer has gained his trust. It's fun to look at those videos and try to figure out /appreciate what he is actually doing on a subconscious level. If you've ever been hypnotized by a proffesional or know about how greatly subconscious thoughts affect our decisions you will kind of get a feel for what this guy is doing.

Well just imagine something that you do thats habitual, and having someone come out of nowhere that confidently forces you (in a subconscious way, not like with a gun kind of way) to break that habit. I'd imagine I'd be kind of confused too, and I'm sure the transaction with the water bottle has some fairly sophistocated pshycological element behind it but I don't know enough about it to recognize what it is.

Aww really? I just discovered him last night and thought he was the man I was looking briefly for proof it was set up but couldn't find anything.

I kind of believed it, I've done some reading about hypnosis and subconscious and it's really amazing how our subconscious habitual thought patterns shape who we are. Studies have shown targeted hypnosis caused volunteers to report seeing color in squares where there was none and no color where there was color, really interesting stuff.

P.S being hypnotized kind of feels like you're high, it's fun.

I've been hypnotized to go to sleep once... the key to hypnosis working is to have a totally open mind and concentrate on exactly what the person doing it is saying.

Yeah thats really hard for me to do, I hear them emphasize a certain word or phrase something a certain way and start thinking what the meaning behind that could be. It's almost like I'm trying to learn about hypnosis and how it works as they're trying to hypnotize me.

Thats funny I first started going to try and be hypnotized to sleep easier but of course that didn't work.
