Well, about everyone here knows that I try to make Halo movies when I can and I was wondering if anyone has heard of any way to get rid of the Hud and if there was a way to get the vids off of the 360 onto the computer quicker then a camera or a cap card. If anyone has heard of anything then please inform me so that I can try to make some vids but if not I'll try to find out when I can but I'm limited to time nowadays (because of work).

Thanks,

I have an idea. You can create custom games where you spawn without a gun in hand. Do that, act out the script of the movie, and then, in the Theatre, with your CC running, have the film playing, but in the mode that removes the hud completely. Your set.

You can record the voices later. That is what Digital Ph33r does.

There is still no other way too move videos to your computer without a capture card.

You can remove the ENTIRE HUD after the fact by going into theater watching what you've recorded then hitting B,B,X,X. Like Xizor said though when you remove the HUD you also remove most of the sounds.

You can remove almost the entire HUD and use a free floating camra of sorts by going into the Forge mode and becoming a Monitor(Hitting up on the directional pad). This leaves a small shield bar at the top of your screen but nothing else and does not remove sound.

Actually, things sound better when you record the voices with computer mics. Just my opinion. But yeah, that would work too, just would need a little letter boxing.

Sorry, about the stupid ass question about the hud thing. Right after I posted this thread I got on H3 into the theater and figured out how to get rid of the Hud so I'm a complete dumbass. However I really don't have to worry about the sounds cause I usually just use sound effects and place them in. Oh, and like Trojan said comp mics sound much better. Only problem now is I have to figure out how to hook my camera into my 360 to film. When I figure it out any one what to help with a vid? I say we start off by each person in the clan make a vid about themselves explaining who they are and what they like so that we can put it in the "About Me" section (I think it's called that?).

Interesting idea, would you really be able to film 50 people though? Might take you a year or more :P

I'd still really like to see a Recruitment Video done.

It shouldn't take me that long if everyone gave me a set time and date when they were on. You bring that up everytime I talk about filming.:realmad:>:] Well, I haven't really thought about it but since you brought it up I'll try to think something up this Sunday since the Panthers don't play. Something everyone could help me with is to give me some suggestions on what songs would be good to use (songs with no words if possible).
