I sparked up the old idea of me getting a capture card and headed over to YouTube to message Digital Ph33r what devices he uses since he has some great quality and he said "I use a Dazzle Digital Video Creator 80 to capture video, and a $20 Logitech headset for recording voices." But I don't think you can hook that up directly to your TV which is what I want and all Dazzles say just hook up your VCR to your computer and blah blah blah. So if I captured footage through a VCR and transfered it to my computer through the capture card would the quality depend on the VCR? Is there any good quality capture cards I could just hook it up using video/audio splitters to my TV?

To capture voices wtf? Why would he do that.

I use a Dazzle as well and there is no need to hook it up to your VCR anymore. What you want to do Thy is buy a Dazzle(I use 150 but there is a 200 model out now)and buy 3 Y-Splitters. Split the Right & Left Audio Cables and the Video cable that runs from your 360 to your TV. Run one set of three like normal to your TV and run the other set of three to your Dazzle. The Dazzle hooks into your computer via USB and boom your done.

Ohhh... Thank YOU!

Also I think he records the voice separate.

He's a machinima maker Thryx, the Logitech headset is used to record voice-overs. That isn't needed for a montage unless you want to be like Midpoint and do a rap at the end of your montage lol

I know Trojan I asked Digital Ph33r what materials he uses and he listed the headset as well.
