Colts or Patriots?

Who do you think will win? I think most people assume the Patriots to win. I however believe the Colts will win. Most of the games the Patriots and played were against bad teams, on the other hand the Colts games were challenging. I have the Colts beating the Patriots this Sunday.

Ooooohh, Toughie. If Marvin Harrison can be healthy, the colts have a shot. Although, the Pats do look too good right now, as Braaterz said. But, it is in Indy, so i'm not really sure yet. I'll vote tomorrow.

I completely agree. The Patriots oppnents have a combined record of 24-34. The Colts opponents on the other hand have a record of 27-24. I think that warrents serious consideration.

Well they beat Dallas. The Colts have beaten okay teams at best. But it's pretty much the same for the Patriots. Aside from Dallas, the Patriots haven't faced any real threatening opponents. The same goes for the Colts. Also keep in mind that the Colts have played one less game than the Patriots, so some stat comparisons will not help.

The key to the game for the Patriots would be running the football. Indie has had a little bit of trouble with defending the run, while they've been excellent at defending passes. Indie has played some pretty good passing teams this year and are still the best team in the NFL at defending the pass. Their biggest challenge will of course be the Patriots, being the best passing team in the NFL and possessing that dynamic combination of Brady/Moss.

Which means the key for Indie is to keep Moss in tact. And don't forget about Wes Welker. Shut down the Patriots passing game.

Colts all the way... I wish I could get tickets to that game!!! Several of my friends are going and I want to go so bad.

Anyway, I think the Colts will win not only because they're the best and my favorite team, but they persevere through games like no other team in the NFL can do. The game against Jacksonville was a great example. They were not looking very good in the first half, but they stuck with it really well and had a few key plays to come back and beat them. Also, we were the Superbowl Champs last year, and we've only become better this season. The Patriots are also better, but they were worse than us last season, so they have some catching up to do. (:

Envy I'm not a Pats hater at all, I just prefer Peyton Manning to Tom Brady...I think he's got a much more like able personality than Brady the only thing I have against Manning is that he's gonna break all of Favre's records besides interceptions

Dallas is the only good team they've played. Washington isn't great and when they played the Chargers, the Chargers were playing like crap. Its amazing that a few weeks can turn a team around... The Colts may not have scored the most points, and they might not have a record breaking Quarterback. But they have shown that they can take the pressure of the close games such as Houston and Tennessee ( who really isn't that bad of team). I wouldn't be surprised if the Colts win one (at home don't forget) that could have major playoff implications.
