I am new and i don't know where to post montages.. I tried "Videos And Photoshop" but it brought me up to mythica and this says Halo Discussion so i came here... Well this is my first montage trailer... I have a Halo 2 Montage but im not sure if anyone still watches Halo 2 anymore so..

Well, first off, the video effects aren't the best. The black and white with a red effect over all blue gets old quick. If you have those films saved on your 360, I would try to mix in a few of those clips from other views. We saw all the first-person views in Halo 2 that we want because that's all we had, but now with these other options, why not use them. :) Just some constructive criticism.

exactily that is why it is the "trailer" the real version is better (not released to a later date) the effects and gameplay are way better via more masking more camera views more effects. Like the stick on Guardian cross map into lift.. The Real version shows me throwing it Fading to the other guys perspective in free cam and it landing in his face when he spawns then fading back to my first person showing the medal. More effects. Don't underestimate my editing yet as this is only a Trailer meaning i got the clips and edited in 30 mins. I Wasn't even thinkin of makin a trailer i was bored and i recored and made... :\

I hope you didn't take my comments offensively, but I was stating my observations of what I had seen. Trailers (from prior knowledge) typically include shots of their near finalized state so I thought what I saw was what was going to be in the final release. ;)

didn't take offensively just stating that it is not the final version and it is a trailer. It is also my first time makin a trailer so im not that good at editing them :O so yea... since im grounded im prob gonna edit SicKxMikes tage since i cant play Halo 3...

I love seeing more editors around. I happen to edit a lot of this clan's videos as well (Look at the Best of OcR Clantage and my own 6th Montage, Going in Blind if you want to see some of my work). I like the high powered style, but really, it's like you made this for Xizor, who's colorblind lol. A little less on the black and white stuff, and your all good.

ehh... this is my Halo 2 Montage yes i stole GuN ShoTs song lol by mistake tho.. i never liked gun shot and i never watched his tages but then i watched and i found out that i stole his song.. and yes there is rarely black and white..

and in my First Montage that was my first time ever editing a montage with Sony Vegas 7.0...

ABUSEDGOAT sent me a clan inv after he saw it and i played GuN ShoT and he was impressed.

Yeah, Gun Shot is pretty good. Saw him playing at MLG Orlando. But apparently, he didn't have a team or something, either that, or he was banned still from competing, I didn't hear his name called for the FFA (he's good, but not in the automatic pro bracket)

he was banned for calling Karma the racial slur for black people...:O

get a capture card (ATI for really good quality and a Dazzle [the one I use is a Dazzle DVC 100 only $51.]) and get a Distribution Amplifier ($50) and your set for recordin your games

no offense but this whole button combo and glitching thing in halo 2 taints my view of montages

haha me too i only did them cuz everyone else did and it was for ez multikillzzzz. did u watch my Halo 3 montage trailer? a lot is in b&w tho. the final version is better. if you wanna see a preview (1 min 45 seconds) add me on aim. TwiStEdxShoTs
