I have been using this virus protection called panda something. It was the bomb until it just kinda wore down. I've been having some spyware probs and cause some friends wanted to get a little happy when they were over. I was wondering what you guys use or what think is the best spyware protection and etc.

I use AVG Free for my Anti-virus software. http://free.grisoft.com/
A-Squared Free for my Anti-Spyware http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/ along with Windows Defender that comes with Vista (and is a free DL for anyone else from microsoft.com).
But, the real cure is to never go to those sites that contain things that you shouldn't be looking at. ;) Those sites are full of crap that will just eat your PC alive if you go there.

yeah I know somebody who comes over to my house and looks at those sites so I need to put a parental control thing up.

I think your getting confused between Virus and Spyware protection.
Now adays you need both an Anti-Virus and a Anti-Spyware application running. I have yet to find one application that does both well.

Envy's correct, but make sure you understand that you need only one Anti-Virus running because if you were to run two or more then it would cause a major confliction with system resources.
Now the same is not true for Anti-Spyware applications. I always have two of them active at all times and then have another one that runs when I scan the PC about once a week.

What are you not suppose to be looking at? Do I need to call Chris Hansen from NBC?
