So Envy is having me make is latest montage, his first for Halo 3. Since it won't be coming out for a bit due to me wanting to work on it pretty dang hard, I whipped up this trailer to hold y'all over.

nice job Trojan...the editing was great, and it's good to finally see a trailer that's more than just clips of game play randomly splashed together, that later you see in the montage and aren't really too impressed anymore cuz you've already seen it

damn some nice editing - not a lot of clips so nothing really to say about the gameplay

Pretty good but still needs some work. I know that I rag on your editing a lot but I just want you to get better. Font was still a little sketchy. In my opinion when you were talking you should have something other than just words showing up on the screen. If you were going to use words then maybe something that would make it look not so plain.

No offense but the voice didn't work too well. You should have made your voice a little rusty and hard like to give it that tough feel. Also you knew that you were using a mic cause you could hear the "puuuhhh..." while you were talking. Even though I encourage you not to use halo music I thought it went well this time. You did some good effects and the overall concept was pretty good.

and
Requiem For A Tower/Dream from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

They fit a lot better than a rock song. And I can't help my accent.

I agree the voice needs to be changed, not that I don't like your voice but just like Savage said it feels amatuer as compaired to the rest of the video.

Oh...well, I thought the music was a good choice but for some reason I thought it was halo music. Sorry about that. I'm not making fun of your voice or anything but what I was trying to say is that you should either play around with your voice program or change your pitch when talking. That's what I do when I voice act cause my regular voice doesn't sound so good. I had some clips of a deeper voice when I was making a halo movie but my computer is currently out of service (planning on buying one tom.) so when I do get a comp. I will make a voice clip and post it on here to show you what I mean.

pretty good, the only thing i didnt like was all the free cam... i would use free cam if i threw a sticky and it stuck cross map via i threw the sticky, faded to the free cam showing it stuck him then fade back to first person showing the stick medal... thats just wut i would do lol =\

Alright, I got my new comp today so I just threw together a rough draft of a before and after mic session. Since I can't upload just .wav on mythica I had to borrow a part of your vid Trojan so please don't sue me or something. Anyways this is what I meant by changing your voice. I did it in a rush so it may not sound outstanding but you should get the point on how the difference can affect a vid.

How do you deepen the voice though?

Well, the way I did it is that I deepened my voice and then I used a free program called Audacity to make the voice a little more deeper.
