Dumb newbie question...

And I mean a proper newbie question... how do I buy M$ points so I can buy stuff on the Marketplace? I want a couple of games from there and (of course) the map pack but I haven't actually got any points yet :O

Goto market place. look at the bottom left. You press x to add microsoft points. Or goto your account setting and I think there is a link there as well.

i have to say that i am pretty pissed i bought some ms points for an older account and i still have 1,000 points left...but then i made a new account and now i cant use the 1,000 points from the other account on this account so i had to spend more money to change a name.

i was very pissed, thank goodness that maps are coming out, at least i wlll be spending the points quickly and not having to dwell on it to much.

even though this doesnt deal with what you asked i just wanted to say that i am upset. :(

I honestly think you should be able to buy x amount of Microsoft Points as you like. Like you can just input a number that you would like to buy and you'll get that much instead of having excess points.

u have to enter ur credit card # to buy them or enter a prepaid card # in the marketplace
