View Full Version : The Office
I am not sure how many people here watch tv but i recently wathced the entire series from start to finish only to find out that not there are not any more episodes on, so does any1 else here share my grief and if so what did u most like about the show. I was a big stanley fan. I espeically like the episode title 'The Job' where the dialog is somethin like this:
Stanley: In fact, I'll give you a billion Stanley Nickels, if you never talk to me again.
Dwight: What's the ratio of a Stanley Nickel to a Schrute buck?
Stanley: The same ratio as unicorns to lepercauns.
Hilarious.

Yup, every thursday night at 9.
That episode is one of the best.
Pam: "So, what's the ratio of your shrutebuck to real dollars?"
Dwight: "Good question, Pam. 1/100 of a cent."
Jim: "So, 1000 of your shrutebucks equals one real dollar?"
Dwight: "Correct."
The Office=Best show on TV.

As an Englishman who's proud of our comedy heritage I have to say it...
If you enjoy the Office then please, please, please check out the original BBC episodes with Ricky Gervaise. I've heard that the American version is pretty good as remakes go (mostly because Ricky Gervaise was involved in its creation) but this is one of those things where you really need to appreciate the original as well. I promise you won't be disappointed :)

Ya The Office is hilarious though I didn't know there was an older version. Is thre anyway to get ahold of a few episodes online?
I heard there was a writers strike due to the network or somethin makin a bunch money on itunes with it or something and the writers were pissed so they went on strike???? i could be mistaken. I would love to be mistaken, cuz I think i am havin comedy withdraws.
I have some of the episodes on avi. and I normally get new ones as they come out. or try to.

Well, you could get the original Office from places I can't talk about without promoting illegal activity but officially speaking I'm sure you can "get it on DVD" over on that side of the pond, lol
