Thats right I was kinda hoping to hold off on this one but after last night I'm feeling pretty good.
My father has gotten 2 box seats to the Giants vs Patriots game on December 29th. Yes the last game of the season. If all goes well I could witness the last regular season game of the perfect season!
Jealous? I know you are.

yea you might witness history if the Giants win because to lose a game where the other teams QB (aka Eli Manning) gives you the ball 4 times would be quite a shame and would have to be some sort of record other than that...no history...btw you know Gaffney was bobbling that ball that won them the game and those b/s Pass Interference calls

Better hope they pay the refs again against the steelers

Its going to be tough to pay off the refs though because the steelers have always gotten the bs calls as well. Remember the superbowl. I watch their games all of the time and they get just as many as the pats do if not more. History wouldn't be made until they won the superbowl, IMO.

Well lately, the teams that the Patriots have faced should have beaten them but they just shot themselves in the foot at the very end, especially the Ravens calling timeout on that should-have-been stop on 4th and 1 AND getting called for holding.
If they can get past the Steelers, they should go undefeated. The Jets suck. They might as well not even play Miami. And as for the Giants, they might do what the Ravens and Eagles did: blow it in the end.
The question is: Can they get past the Pittsburgh Steelers? We have the best defensive team in the NFL facing the best offensive team in the NFL. Seeing how the Ravenss always tough D put so much pressure on Tom Brady and limit his passing game; how can the Steelers be much different. They're going to do the same thing the Ravens's did last night. The only differences will be 1.) Pittsburgh will defend the pass better. 2.) They'll win.
I think I will be circling Pittsburgh instead of New England on this weeks pick sheet.

that was the first time they stopped them,
4 and 1 after the TO they called a false start on the pats which was their FIRST penalty!
4 and 6 they stopped them again for the 3rd time but a bs def holding call when moss talked samari roll right as his route began
and the TD catch it was ovious he didnt have possesion, but it stood...

Yeah, that was the most ridiculous game I've seen in my life.:nah: Pats get so lucky. I'd say that Pittsburgh will be the only team left that may have a chance in beating the Pats.
That would be funny as hell though if the Pats got beat by the dolphins who hasn't won a game this year. Don't doubt the dolphins cause they've been a sucky team since Dan left and I remember them upsetting the Pats before so it could happy again.
Then again I wouldn't have a better felling then for the Pats to go undefeated and then get their ass kicked in the Super Bowl.;)>:]

The Patriots won't go undefeated but they will win the Superbowl. They may have had some "luck" come their way, but they're still the best team in the NFL.

going off of what MYK said earlier the Steelers have the number one defense and also blitz more than the ravens do. We have a better offense still not the best...but not the worst.
and it looked to me like the ravens ran all over the pats and they dont even have a good line, not to put down the ravens ziz. Also Parker is a great running back.
but sadly i wont be able to watch the game because i am working that night...MF'er.
but it is sad to see that the pats being so good in my opinion will have this season tainted because they were caught cheating...and you really cant argue that even don shula (sp*) made a statement about it.
and yes, the refs do like us, its because we are black and yellow...
like bees :P

This wasn't a Patriots bashing thread you haters.
That 4th and 1 time out call was one of the biggest 'uh oh' calls ever. But who'se to say people stopped playing when they heard that whistle and the play may have had a different outcome if it wasn't called dead. However the holding call and the touchdown were legit. You can't say he was bobbling that ball for the TD, they even freaken reviewed the play.
Frankly out of all the teams we've played so far the Ravens where the most disrespectful bunch of show boaters so far. They deserved too loose.
Your team lost ziz, deal with it. iLL will be dealing with it next week ;)

Yeah, and following the 'whoppsee daisy' timeout, if I'm not mistaken, the Patriots were moved back 5 yards, bringing up a 4th and 6, where Brady just ran it himself to convert. After that the Ravens just collapsed.
