Ok here is my problem. When I was playing halo 2 competatively in Mlg I was very good with the BR. I rarely got out dualed and with halo 3 it seems that I am getting out Br'd alot. I was wondering if we can set up some mlg ffa just to get the rust off. IDK if it is my sensativity currently at (3) or something else. What i really think is that I am just out of practice. So let me know what can be set up.

Yeah, I've noticed it's like Halo 1, where you had to lead your pistol shots. It takes some getting used to, since you didn't have to do it in H2, but it works.

The things I've been working on the past few days is this: once you get off like 3 shots on a guy jump to either left or right and that will usually throw off the other guy and allow you to get the last head shot. Squat like crazy, lots of people did this in Halo 2 but I think its more effective in Halo 3 since the auto aim isn't nearly as strong as Halo 2. Also just jump like crazy, like in door ways and stuff like that, I find myself doing that a lot with no shields and out bring my opponent. So those are just a few tips if you don't already do them, I'm also up for the FFA, my BR isn't that great either, I really need to work on it also, just tell me when and I should be able to make it.

Yeah random squats and strafes help a lot but it is still somewhat hard if they have the first shot cause the br is so slow.

Actually the one thing I do like about the BR in this game is even if your down a shot or even more you can still turn around and out BR people, if you move around right and have good aim. As in Halo 2 the auto aim was so strong that it was very hard to do that. I notice lots of people panic when they only need one head shot, or don't expect you to turn around and start jumping and all that, so you still have a very good chance at coming out on top, even if your behind on shots.

try bumping down to 2 sensitivity Master. It will really help out your BR aim and when you feel like you are strong with it bump up a notch and it will help u with it. That at least worked for me but I am onstantly changing from 2 to 3 depending on maps and gametypes. I think I am gonna stick at 2 for now on because I can out BR most people with it and the maps are so big I do not need faster sens for close quarters like H2. That is at least my take on it. Only thing that hurts is that it is harder to turn around if you are flanked or try to turn around to hide your head if u are about dead. Overall it is slow but your sniper and BR will be much better and more accurate.

Yeah thats true dragon I have been working on that and also what I realized not a whole lot of people are good with the br because they have gotten so used to the ar and etc.

Ya it works well for most games. I am always bouncing around from 2 to 3 but for almost all MLG games or BR starts and FFA I am always at 2. Once you get used to it and know what weaknesses you will have at a low sensitivity like close quarters it is noit to hard to avoid those situations and put yourself in a good position to just BR battle and team shoot. I do however have trouble when someone is over my head or jumping around in close quarters it is hard to move to there head wuickly but that is rare and usually I can still get the kill.

I wish Bungie would quit screwing around with the sensitivity. In H2 on my original Xbox sens. of 4 was perfect for me. Then I got a 360 and was at 3 but it was not as good as the original 4. Now H3 I am down to a 2 and it is a little to slow I now need like a 2.5 sens.
