View Full Version : Can the Patriots finish things off?

What I'm interested in seeing is who will each team play since this game doesn't have much effect on the playoff picture for either team. Of course the Patriots should want to reach this goal and make history.

Then again, lets not think that the Giants don't care much for this game just because they're already going to the playoffs. They want to win it for morale support. If they can beat the Patriots, they can go into the playoffs know that "they beat the unbeatable."

But while the Giants are playing for momentum, the Patriots are playing for something more valuable: perfection.

Oh yea, and I forgot to mention that the Patriots are a better team....
     Patriots 44
     Giants 30

Oh, and if you haven't heard, the game will be televised outside of the northeastern area. It was originally going to be exclusively on that NFL Network, where you either have to live in the nothereastern part of the country or purchase the network from charter to watch the game. Now you can watch the game on your local NBC or CBS affiliate. And thank God for that, cause I don't what I'd do knowing that game was on and I couldn't watch it. That already happened once with the Green Bay-Dallas game a few weeks ago.

Of course Envy is the first one to post to this. They will win, because Eli Manning sucks

even though a win would give the giants huge momentum i think it would also deflate them because they would be like we stopped the perfect season and would let it rest there they just don't have the mindset to build off a win like that...like all their players say, they're quitters and at some point everything breaks I see the Pats cruising to an easy victory if they score early

The Pats are going to destroy them they have the mindset of playing 60 minutes of football and have something to play for.....Perfection. Meanwhile the giants dont have shockey have nothing to play for and they know they cant bet the patriots...So all I have to say is Patriots you better cover that 14 point spread.

That makes no sense at all.

Manning sucking, Shockey, Ward, and Jacobs hurt, Plexiglass playing hurt, I see the Pats finishing it.

well its obvious the pats will win but i read the new york paper for the first time in awhile and everywhere the patriots are mentioned there is an asterisked signifying they got caught cheating.

Watching the game now, the Giants jumped on them early but the Pats are in the redzone. Score is 7-3 with about a minute to go in the 1st quarter. I believe the Pats will pull it out.

Aaaand thats that folks. Whether you like it or not, the Patriots have gone undefeated in 2007. I think they deserve it. And the Giants shouldn't be ashamed. They can have a good feeling going into the playoffs knowing that with a battered up team, they gave the great Patriots quite a fight. Eli Manning had a good game.

And lets not get too comfident about the Patriots in the playoffs. They havent been nearly as good late in the last 4 or 5 weeks as they have at the beginning of the season. Still, I can't se this tyeam losing at all. They are my Super Bowl Champs
