USC was dominating in the first half pulling out a 21-3 first half lead but Illinois got a nasty run play and made it 21-10

does anyone think Illinois has a chance?

i don't think they do, but I also thought that UVA was gonna win the gator bowl, boy was I wrong... freakin blew it again.

Illinois is a joke. I like how Zook turned that team from a regular 2 win team into a 9 win team, but they shouldn't have been there. Quite frankly, I don't think the Rose Bowl should be a BCS Bowl.

this game was a embarassment to the rose bowl. Illinois was young and prolly a year out of this game. They just dont yet have the talent, depth or experience to compete with the USCs of the college football world. They beat OSU because they were under the radar. This game wouldve been much better if it was USC vs Mizzou, so Illinois could play Arkansas and maybe that game would be more competitive.
