The Patriots are one big step away from a perfect season and another World Championship.
The Giants are trying to shock the world. They beat two of the NFL's most elite teams (Dallas and Green Bay). Can they defeat the most elite of them all?
Discuss the Super Bowl here!

As sorry as I am to say it, I'm sure the Pats will destroy the Giants. Seeing the SD-NE game today was testament to it. Chargers shut down Brady and what did they do? Showed their depth by running Maroney extremely successfully in the second half. I wish that the Packers had won today cause I think they'd be a better opponent for New England. I guess I'll have to root the Patriots on since they beat the Chargers, again. At least my boys made it to the AFC championship this year!

There should be a who cares? option. Seriously this is the first super bowl I have ever thought about not watching. I absolutely hate both teams and both qb's in paticular. hopefully the qb's will strain their elbows while combing their hair before the game and somehow neither of them can recover and both promptly retire. That would be the day.

How can you even say that? I mean sure it was exciting, but I know college teams that make less mistakes than both teams did last night...they both looked awful the Packers especially which is why they lost. And Al Harris, a pro-bowler? Who the hell voted for that? It was almost comical to watch him try and cover Plaxico 1v1 if the Packers D-coordinator had any brain whatsoever he would have got him some help a lot earlier...It was a poorly played and poorly coached game on both sides but i guess when both teams play bad it will be a close game making it exciting
Conclusion: Patriots will win the super bowl...easily

I want the Giants to win in a close one because it will be remembered forever. After the Giants barely failed to prevent the Patriots' perfect regular season, they come back with a second chance to prevent a perfect overall season. They win 3 play-off games on the road, beating both Dallas and Green Bay. They are battle tested for the Patriots. It would be pretty cool if the Giants actually beat the unbeaten Patriots in the Super Bowl
But, remember, I said that I want the Giants to win the Super Bowl. Doesn't mean I have much confidence that they will. This is an easy one. New England just has too many weapons. Patriots by 10.

the giants played that pats very close when they had nothin to play for and that pats still had everything to play for. itll be interesting to see how they play with a lil pressure on em this time. for me it depends on which eli shows up. cuz the giants defense will be healthy by the superbowl and that will make a world of difference. if the same eli that torched the pats in week 17 shows up, the giants will give the pats a good run, but i just cant see brady losing this one unfortunately, pats by 3 again

Eli Wins the Super Bowl and gets a Kiss from Peyton mid field and a big hug from Archie while the tears stream down there faces and confetti sticks to them. Kodak moment.
What the hell am I saying Pats stomp the crap out of the Giants and everyone misses the halftime show after leaving the stadium and turning to the lingerie Bowl and never turning back due to the blowout first half.
I think it will be a close game actually but I give it to the Pats by 7.

From the looks of that I don't think its gonna be an easy win for the Patriots.... But he has a few weeks to recover so hopefully he'll be okay by then...

If I was getting paid millions of dollars to hold on to a football, I'd hold on to the football whether it was 110 degrees or -30 degrees not to mention that most receivers wear gloves and they all have hot pads on them that they use to warm their hands in between plays...and these are pro football players aren't they supposed to be the definition of toughness and manliness?

Agreed, I can't stand that shit when a football player doesn't catch a ball that goes right through there hands and blows a huge play. It's very pathetic some times and I have to turn it off.

Toughness or no toughness, the football is frozen in that kind of weather. Plus, the air outside is thick. Thus, effecting the flight of the ball through the air. Which makes me think that before Tymes kicked the game winner, they kept the ball warm with a towel. because that would be hard to kick from 47 yards away in that kind of weather. Also, the quarterbacks usually don't wear gloves. Imagine trying to throw a frozen football with your hands, which are really cold as well.
Then again, I never said that it was a very well played game, either. But I did enjoy watching it, with the exception of the winning FG.
