Pro gaming leagues? (Not just Halo, not just MLG)

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you lot knew of any other video gaming tours and tournaments apart from MLG and Halo?

The ones I'm after would be actual tournaments in physical buildings, but not necessarily pro-gaming or large scale. If you know of any websites that list things like this regularly then that would be a bonus. Extra points for tournaments not just in the USA.

Note: Don't worry that you might think they're not in my region, I'm after as many tournaments/leagues/pro-circuits as possible.

i know that my state NC holds a quarterly gaming torunament/forum. with epic gaming studios moving down here im sure that this one will be alot bigger with more games than just halo and cod like they had in november. im sure that if you do some research gimp you can find one thats in your local area

For reasons that will become clear in time (I don't want to give away too much just yet) I'm actually after as many as possible in as wide a geographical location as possible (Americas, Europe, Asia, etc.). I'll also be trolling video game boards over the coming weeks doing research but I figured here would be a good place to start small :)
