Dunno if anybody is particularly interested (I remember Gimp spoke of his interest), but the trailer for Watchmen is out. Still don't want to get excited, as it could be an easy story to wreck in the wrong hands, but boy does it look impressive!

I couldn't get the trailer to work as I was out the door to work a couple days ago, but I saw it before The Dark Knight yesterday and I am pumped. That movie is going to be the balls!

Oh man... oh wow... If the movie's as sweet as the trailer then I'll be happy. The crystal palace at the end gave me goosebumps.

It's worth buying or downloading the graphic novel, as it's quite epic. I suppose the central theme is the humanity behind heroism. It's a difficult story to sum up really, as there's lots of themes going on together. But the characters are brilliantly written, Rorschach (in the black and white mask and brown hat) is especially awesome.

I work in a movie theatre so i see this trailer at least 4 times a day! the theme song sounds great and the visuals are amazing!

Hmmmm, I maybe buying a graphic novel in the near future, I also saw the trailer yesterday while waiting for The Dark Knight to start...looks pretty cool and I had no idea what I was seeing...

Looks prettysweet, and the silver looking guys look awesome. It looks like it has a bunch of action seens in it. That was the only downfall in batman for me. The parts where they keep talking was boreing!!! I want action!!!!

Watchmen is one of those graphic novels that I hold very dear. It is with no exaggeration that I say:

Yep, I must read this 2 or 3 times a year. Never gets old. Seeing it acted out and spoken is gonna tarnish it though, as your own imagination is always better. Lets just hope they dont sully the reputation of the book by making it into a bad, irrelevant whizz-bang action movie.

Very interesting, never heard of this before. I will plan on seeing this.

I never saw this trailer waiting for The Dark Knight. The only one I saw worth seeing is the Terminator movie.

Lol, I hope the director is good and he stays true to the comic. That would suck if this movie was screwed up and ruin the reputation of it....

Aw man, I never knew there was a Terminator trailer out yet! Just watched it, the static playing the theme tune sent shivers down my spine! One of the best pieces of film music ever. Looking forward to this film. A lot.

Yeah, I bet they included the Terminator trailer with The Dark Knight because Christian Bale is in both of them.

I guess all of the trailers are different. You see a trailer for the new 007 movie Noswal?

Yeah, looks good. I had my reservations about the new guy, but they got rid of all the ridiculous gadget crap and it's worked to his advantage. Gives him a chance to break some heads open without using some gimmicky gadget or whatever.

I agree, I thought that the new Bond would not fill the role correctly before the first movie, but he ended up doing a great job. The next movie looks good.

That's where Watchmen is kinda different and it gets harder to explain. Apart form one character they don't really have powers. One guy's really smart, another's got some cool gadgets but apart from that they're just normal people who put on costumes.

The costumed heroes in Watchmen treat it themselves as a kind of juvenile phase they went through when they were young and idealistic... But any more than that enters spoiler territory.
