He's not big on comedies. He prefers documentaries, and horror movies. That's the only reason why I'd have to convince him.

Sounds like a man with good taste! I have a special dislike for these kinda movies, as my mates reckon I look like the main dude with the afro. I don't, but they know it winds me up. And the whole slacker comedy thing never worked for me, I think I'm too English. But I must agree with Envy, the song is growing on me more than I ever thought it would.

Trust me, he laughs a lot, it's just that his movie preference tends to remain more on the serious side. He would rather watch a documentary on computers/hacking/startups than have to sit through a movie like, Oh I don't know, Anchorman.

I mean, we'll watch some comedies, and he'll enjoy them... But that's because I want to watch them. I mean, the last movie he suggested to me was "Felon." That and his favorite movie being the Godfather, you can see why this wouldn't be a must-see :D

TV shows on the other hand are an entirely different subject. He loves Seinfeld and the Office (and Lost and Battlestar Gallactica.)

The Seth Rogan heat is off me atm, apparently now I'm that Sock guy from Reaper. Notice how those both look nothing like each other, yet my friends still insist I'm just like them. I think they're just jealous I still look like a guy, whereas they're lost to the ways of moisturizer, hair straighteners and skinny jeans.

Does your bf like the British Office? We get yours over here late at night, but I dunno if you show ours there. It's hard to watch sometimes, but it's very funny. In a subversive, distressing kind of way, haha!

I'm actually much like cupcakes man, 90% of comedies don't do it for me. I always feel like "How can this be funny, it's rehearsed 100 times. That's not funny." people try way to hard in my opinion. Granted if I can relate to something in the movie I find it more enjoyable, like Talladega nights; hilarious only because I am constantly making fun of nascar fans myself.

Now show me a kid on youtube trying to look cool and hurting himself, now thats funny.

enjoy the sillyness happening in frot of you for what it is. a rediculous story with some funny or not so funny twists.
i can enjoy basically any movie, if i have the proper mind-set for it ;)

The British Office is showed on BBC. The first season of the American version wasn't as good as the British but I think now the American version is better.

Saw Pineapple Express yesterday. Really wish I were high for it, I might go again in that condition. It was awesome, although the ending was almost too bizarre to be funny. Most of the movie was pure gold though.

I loved the movie. Saw it at a drive in last weekend. Best possible way to go see it was at a drive-in, at least for my friends.

I love comedies, just not ones about drugs. THey just dont seem to be funny unless your high, but IMO every movie is funny if ur high (even something like the ring). If the movie isnt funny to you while your sober then it must not have been that good. I hated half baked, it was so bad.
