I'm guessing not alot of people care much for this Series. I'm not expecting it to be much of a contest; I think Tampa Bay will sweep the Phillies. It almost looks inevitable. But I'll still watch it because 1. I'm a sports fanatic, how can I not watch the World Series? and 2. I, as well as everyone else, am very intrigued by the Tampa Bay Rays and how they have gone from the worst team in baseball last season to the favorite to win the World Series this season. It's pretty incredable.
So yea, Tampa Bay in four.

Devil Rays. They also have the worst stadium I have ever been to in my life. Didn't feel like I was at a game at all. The crack of the bat wouldn't be heard until it echoed off of the ceiling 5 seconds later.

I'm picking Tampa all the way. Pimp, I've been to the stadium twice and it's incredibly nice inside but the field is absolutely terrible. I say they take off the tarp-like roof (yes, it's just like a tarp strung over the entire field) and plant some real grass. :P

Was the stadium there prior to the devil rays rocketr? It was nice it just didn't feel like a baseball game to me.

Yea, I never liked watching baseball indoors. Football is fine indoors, but baseball is an outdoor sport. I've been to the Metrodome in Minneapolis and Minute Maid Park in Houston, and it's so odd watching a game inside.
Oh and did you know that Tropacana Field was built over a cemetary? Haha, they kept saying that's the reason why the Rays were such a bad team. Then they take the "Devil" out of their name (making the Devil Rays into just the Rays, to correct Pimp) and now they're suddenly great. There's alot of crazy karmah surrounding that team.

It was originally built to "entice" existing MLB teams to possibly move to Tampa Bay, but I believe it was made for multi-purpose. The Tampa Bay Lightning, some arena football games, and the 1999 NCAA Men's Basketball Finals took place there.
I will say that it is not as nice of a stadium as Turner Field in Atlanta. I love that place even though the Braves suck now. :P

All of the times that I have been there it was the most well-kept professional baseball stadium that I have been to. It also had some visually attractive architecture to me too. I like the old-fashioned brick style that doesn't look worn down. :P

I don't really care who wins I'm shocked the Phillies are still playing. In a way I hope Phillies win because the celebration will be crazy. I'm only 20 minutes away from the city so if they win I'll definatly be heading over.

I know this guy that has 2 tickets to game five that he says are worth around 1,200 bucks each, that number will probably go up a lot though if they can win it all in game 5. They were season tickets that are normally worth like 80 dollars.

It is just really nice to see other teams goto the world series. I am happy to see the Phillies get a chance but that is all. The Rays from Last place last year to world series this year. What a turn around.

I'm glad they didn't finish last night, if they won I would have wanted to go to Philly but had class at 9 this morning, I don't have any classes tomorrow so if they play /win tonight I get to go down. It'll be nuts, Philly hasn't won in so long and I don't think anybody expected them to get this far. Last night when they scored that run to tie and Burrel tried to throw him out that was just embarassing he is a joke defensively, I don't think he is anything special with his bat either I hate that guy.
