I will not be on from thursday (11/6/08) till tuesday (11/11/08). My cross country team won our sectional meet and we will be competing at states on saturday, but we are leaving early because it is so far away. I will probably not be back until tuesday.

We run 3.1 miles and my team is ranked 5th in New York State. VCP? I dont know what that is.....

So my team got 4th out of 11 teams at states. We were in the C race with 11 teams and we represented section 6. My individual place and time were not my best by far, but we did pretty good, for being the first xc team in my school to go to states. So thanks again for your guys support.

vcp is van courtland park one of the best xc Courses in NY. I Coach a XC team from brooklyn ny. we are in the chsaa section what team are you growanda? or somthing like that i forget the spelling. are you going to be running in Feds?

Yeah my team is Gowanda, and i will not be running in feds. What section are you? We ran at Sunken Meadows State Park in Long Island, and that course was tough.

Im from the CHSAA. We dont compeat in states we compeat at feds.

Oh whats the difference between feds and states? amd i have never heard of Calhoun High School, where is it in New York?

Nassau county... Surprised you never heard of it... We came in second in the regionals... However, I don't do XC, Hockey is my thing.

ive heard of that school. feds takes the top teams fromm all of new york. i believe its next weekend or the weekend afterthat. a good xc forum is www.dyestat.com

I did XC in high school...needless to say I sucked because I'm a bigger guy. I think my top was 14 minutes for two miles. I have never been the skinny runner. I'm in pretty good shape all around tho.
