The Timing
It will start Friday, December 5th and run until Monday, December 15th.

The Playlist (Hardcore 2v2)
Battle Rifle starting weapon, motion detector shows allies only. Weapons removed from maps except for Battle Rifles, Carbines, Plasma Pistols, Shotguns, Swords, Snipers, and Rocket Launchers. Most equipment items have been removed or traded for bubble shields. You can find all of the maps and gametypes on the maps page (http://halo3.thewestwalker.net/maps.aspx). Remember, many of the weapon spawns are different. It would be wise to download the maps and give them a quick fly-through.

The Layout
All teams wanting to compete should register a team (http://halo3.thewestwalker.net/myteams.aspx) in the Hardcore 2v2 (http://halo3.thewestwalker.net/leaderboards.aspx?pl=8) playlist. On December 5th, Hardcore 2v2 ranks and other stats will be reset, and the tournament will begin. All teams should set up matchmade games (http://halo3.thewestwalker.net/matchmaking/enter.aspx) scheduled during the tournament. The highest ranked teams at the end of the tournament will be declared the winners.

TheWestWalker.net's matchmaking system will find similarly skilled teams for you to play against. Set a date and time at least 48 hours from now, and the matchmaking system will find several other teams to play against. Whichever one accepts the challenge first will play against you in a best of 5 series on randomly selected map and gametype pairs. Your team will gain more experience in matchmaking than from the old challenges.

So all you need to do once you have a teammate is enter matchmaking (http://halo3.thewestwalker.net/matchmaking/enter.aspx). Find a few times during the tournament when you and your teammate will be available and enter matchmaking for those times. Remember, you'll be playing a best of 5 series, so don't try and schedule your games too close together. Also keep in mind that you may have better luck if you wait until closer to the tournament start to schedule your games.

The Rules
Everyone must follow the rules layed out on the rules page (http://halo3.thewestwalker.net/aboutladders.aspx#rules). Teams accused of cheating will be investigated, and, if found guilty, disqualified and banned from TheWestWalker.net.

The Prizes
1st Place: Each team member will recieve an Xbox LIVE 3-month card.
2nd and 3rd Places: Each team member will recieve an Xbox LIVE 1-month card. "

i could do it with u swick..only problem is that im not as good with my cast on lol its hard to aim with it in the way..also it starts fri and i have a fball game friday..my team is in the semifinals..if we win this nxt one we go to state at papa johns(Louisvilles stadium)

Good luck exile, going to states is a great experience. I will do this if anyone would partner up with me, I'm practicing now to get better (4 weeks is a long time to not play halo) so i need the practice. I just need a partner.

Well I got on xbox live to watch a movie from my computer, and people kept sending me invites. So I was kind of forced to play, but I really loved those customs we played. Even though I couldn't even BR at all.
