Upcoming Video Game Movies

I found a link that led me to this page, it's a list of movies based on games that are in production. None are concrete, but there's some exciting possibilities!

I'd like to see how they handle Gears of War, Earthworm Jim and Mortal Kombat. And Halo, obviously.

I can't believe they are going to try and do Mortal Kombat again. They made 2 great movies already and I bet the new one will suck. I need to get messed up and watch the mortal kombats again they are so funny.

Okay I don't understand how you will do World Of Warcraft when its entire selling point is that you create your own character...who will be the main person in the movie? What will they look like? What race?

This will not bode will with WoW geeks...

It would be just like them making a Mass Effect game, except far worse...

That and the fact that there would be no crossover appeal to see the movie. You either love WoW or hate it. Can't see this movie being liked by WoW fans and there is no way I would go to see this.

I think that it would be huge. They will probably make it in the same light as the lord of the rings.

They really need to get the halo movie going. I am inclined to think that.they will put it theaters near the release of the new game.

I think these are just rumors/announcements, because that is an awfully large amount of movies in a 2 or 3 year span. It doesn't seem like they ALL will be made, hopefully most...

And Honestly, I'm ready for that halo movie already, how long have people been talking about it? 2 years? I think we have had a long enough wait. I wouldn't be surprised if it was canceled.

Well to be honest there is already a WoW episode of south park, and if your going to do it properly it will be a progression through "raid" content for example going through onyxia, zul gurub, into outland, into TSS,MH,BT,Sunwell. Moving onto northrend to take out the lich king, aslong as they follow the lore without making huge mistakes or taking important events our i think a WoW movie should work

Bioshock would be an amazing movie as long as they stick with the game script i think it would be good or if they did a prequel like when RYan first created atlantis. and how all the ppl became Eve Hungry.

MK they made 2 great movies b4 and so hopefully the 3rd wont let us down.

Halo. Its been long awaited and i will go see that movie hands down along with a GoW movie but once agian They have to either do the game or the prequel to the game. like for Halo it should be based off the book series that would be awsome.
