LAN v2.0 is said and done. I would like to personally thank all those who attended, including those from Arm The Flag and Halo3 Wheelmen. It was a pleasure hosting all of you. With a maximum attendance of 26 it was a huge success. Even our old friend RoyaleCrisis made a brief appearance(not in picture).
With a total of 5 Monitor stations and 3 37' LCD TVs going there wasn't a moment where at least 8 people where gaming. Unfortunately the only down side of the entire weekend was the crappy hotel internet that prevented us from getting on XBL to share some of the fun with those of you who could not attend.
Friday saw most of us meeting up around 3PM EST after long flights and drives. We spent a few hours setting up the network before realizing we needed to eat. Burger King played host for dinner that evening. After dinner we returned to the hotel and proceeded to game until the late morning hours. AtF stopped by first and we got a few OcR vs. AtF games going before mixing things up again. Friday night came to a close around 2AM EST, an early night compared to Saturday.
Saturday started off with the arrival of Rhino and the H3WM around 10AM. After some breakfast and a few hours at the event we started the gaming back up. This is when we hit our max in the room. At around 4PM we had 26 people enjoying the LAN love.
We ran a FFA tournament similar to the MLG version for members and allies. It was a 3 round 6 person heat with everyone competing excluding Defkism and myself. The finals saw a tie for first place with Nighthawk and new recruit fr0d tied at 25. fr0d having less deaths placed first and got himself a Halo Board Game & 1 Month XBL card. Nighthawk placed second receiving a copy of Lost Odyssey. Hurricane came in a close third with 23 kills. Game Video was saved of the finals and I will post the link up shortly.
Saturday dinner saw 22 of us heading down the Chillis for food and of course drinks. It was a sight to behold and hopefully Anti & AtF can post some pictures of the gigantic table we head going. iLL won the "guess the bill" contest with $330 and the actual total being $335.
That night saw the most gaming with all of us returning and playing nonstop till 3AM where we decided it was time to break down and call it a weekend. Security decided to put a small damper on our festivities after JPice broke out the Sham Wow and cause a huge uproar at its pure awesomeness. This was of course not before Defkism decided to play a FFA drinking game. Each time you died you had to drink until you respawned. Needless to save 18 beers later Defkism was pronounced the winner and provided the next few hours of entertainment as he attempted to function.
This year was huge huge success. We quadrupled the attendance from last year. We had very little problems and everyone got along. Again I want to thank everyone who came out. I know money is tight in this post-bush economy. The fact that 26 people made the trip proves that OcR and its allies are dedicated to the game we all love.
In closing I'd like to keep with last year’s tradition and post some gamer tags we thought up/created and played on during the LAN. Some have hidden meaning some are just straight out mean but funny none the less. Please feel free to add to the list!

Hello from NJ!
All is well, the weather played a big role in our arrival. Hurricane was the most delayed, almost 5 hours late. Besides that things are well. Doom, Fr0d, iLL, Rocketr, DoubleD, Siao, Defkism, Nighthawk, Nova, Hurricane + Brotherinlaw and myself are all here and laning it up. Unfortunately the internet is a bit crappy here so we may not be able to get on XBL. We will make a good effort tomorrow.
I'd like to take the time to announce a few promotions at this time. The most notable two are OcR McDohl returning to his title as Overlord. No more retirement for him. The second is the long time coming OcR ROCKETR also moving to overlord. His efforts and contribution to the clan has proven he went above and beyond what is expected of even our staff members. Congrats fellas!
With the promotion of Rocketr we have a vacant spot as CoS. iLL has accepted this role that he once held. Lastly OcR FoRk will be stepping up to BC for the Royale team only. With Forks promotion you will notice we have seperated the BC roles per team. Congrats!
Lastly as many of you have already noticed, due to my idiocy the BTB team name will be Outcast Retribution. More to follow regarding Royale and Retribution in the coming days.
That's all for now, hopefully the internet issues will clear up and we will get on XBL later tonight. Until then any problems can be addressed to McDohl. Happy Gaming!
