Fix my drive. The power is there but I don't get a nice arc or anything. It just kindof rolles and bounces.

When I use my driver the ball always goes to the right. So I don't even use it anymore.

Are you just not getting any loft on your shot? If so I would first suggest shortening the length of your swing. This will slow down your swing and give you control. A swing with good tempo will allow the shaft of the club to flex correctly and give the loft you want. Also try teeing up the ball just a tiny bit higher, a little bit can go a long way!

Well my diagnosis is a mixture of two simple things. 1. coming over the top and pulling across the ball (this causes a slice) 2. Not turning the club over with your hands through impact. If the driver is the only club you hit right then it is more likely that you are not getting your hands through the ball. How to fix this? Take some slow swings and try and point at where you want the ball to go after you make contact. You are essentially trying to point the club down the flight line you want the golf ball to travel. Its a very simple thing that is tough to describe without a demonstration, but I hope you got the gist of it. The point is to get your hands to turn over through contact. This should help the slice.

Exciting news! For all those who are golf fans, the 91st PGA Championship starts this week at my home course (for real), Hazeltine National Golf Club! CBS covers the final two rounds on the weekend and also does a recap of the days on Thursday and Friday evenings. I am so excited that we get to host this prestigious tournament yet again (as we did in 2002), and I hope some of you will be watching it!

Country club, no. Private golf course, yes. We dont have the tennis courts / swimming pools / spas that the country clubs have... hence why the name is Hazeltine National Golf Club. What an exciting finish to the tournament, a chip in on 14 to take the lead from Tiger!

the game makes it kinda unrealistic though like on 10 i just bomb it over the bunkers on the left where in real life players just lay up or bounce over them like yang

how do i get backspin, i can stick the ball no problem but i have no idea how to get backspin

for me in order to get backspin you gotta have some nice clubs with good grooves and top of the line golf balls. If i want backspin i swing down on the ball a lot for and tend to clear my hips through quicker. if you dont get your hips and hands through quick you get a huge slice

yeah I got a nice couple cobras I use alot short game and im starting to get the hang of it
I'm sacking my distance control though so i gotta get use to the spin, then get use to how to control the distance
its basically a step back and two steps forward:skeptical:

I feel your pain, happens to me sometimes. To get on topic though, I've always (in a way) wanted to try golfing. The most I've done is go to a driving range and try to kill the ball haha...How long have you been golfing Rowe?
