Hey have you guys seen any of the previews for District 9? It's a film by Peter Jackson i think, i was just wondering if anyone knew a little bit more background to it besides what the previews show, thanks for whatever i can get...

I thought it looked pretty good. I don't know any more than you do. Sorry. I guess we'll just have to wait.

It is a movie filmed as a documentary. It covers the racism and hate that aliens were met with after becoming refugees to our planet. Upon their arrival on earth (28 years ago) they were separated from the human population and put in a separate community similar to that of WWII ghettos. This community is called District 9. Anyways, the movie is about the documentarians uncovering some horrible secret from inside district 9. That is basically All I know, hope I could help.

Awesome description, thanks so much, do you possibly know if its going to be filmed like Cloverfield, that gave me a huge headache because of how rocky it was...

From what I hear I don't think so..it's going to be more action based. Of course,it's all just speculation at this point.
