Who is going to be in the Series this year? I'm keeping my predictions hush hush because I know Envy won't like it very much (I'm a Yankees fan!!!)

And just when I thought we'd be friends you tell me this...I must say nobody should count the Red Sox out yet. Baseball is, and ALWAYS will be a game of inches. That said, the Yankees have really come together since the start of the season, which kills me inside. In the AL West, The Angels are still on top, which is no surprise, as they have quite a long-term track record during the regular season. The AL Central is the biggest mess in the majors...Look at all those near .500 and below winning percentages. But I love Granderson with Detroit, he plays hard every game. I'm not going to predict the AL winners just yet, but I will say this. Titles can be won off of wild card berths ;) nobody should ever forget that.
I'm going to admit I don't follow the NL nearly as much as I do the AL. But one thing's obvious, the Dodgers are the definition of seamless. They've had some hiccups as of late, but they're really coming together. Since day 1 I've been ecstatic that Manny was no longer on the Sox and that he would no longer be in the AL. I do mean that, because despite his talent, he has the worst attitude and needs to be babied until he gets what he wants. I'm going to put my money on Philly winning the division and the Pennant due to the fact that they are a veteran ball-club and went down the stretch last year. It's tough to repeat, but I believe that they'll come out on top and head to the WS.

I might sound like a hometown honk right now, but I think the Cardinals are going to be the most dangerous team going into the playoffs. They have a strangely underrated starting rotation (Carpenter, Wainwright, Pineiro) that can match up with anyone, a lineup that includes the best player in the game (Pujols) and plenty of dangerous hitters around him, and a lighs out closer (Franklin). This is a team built to make a run for the championship.
I have never once picked my home town team to win a championship in a nuetral mindset, because I want to avoid being a homer, but I really do think the Cardinals have a extremely good chance of winning it all.

Yankees vs. Cardinals, although the Rockies look like a crazy a Wild Card again. I think them damn Yankees will win it though.

This thread isn't about who "sucks".
Besides, I don't understand your logic. Clear this up for me. How does the number one team in the East suck? I'm guessing you're a Sox fan or a Cards fan.

How can you say you hate a team when you don't even like the sport? That's like me saying I gate the Lakers even though I've never watched a Lakers game ever. It just doesn't make sense to me.

The Yankess try to get ever best player out there, all the "All Star players", since they have so much money, and buy the best, it's not fair for other teams. Also, my ex co-business owner was a die hard Yankees fan, and I hate him with a passion, so when I think of the Yankees I think of him too. So there Dooooooooooomie. >:]

The top 5 teams from the East AND West have more enough money to buy the same players the Yankees do. Having money doesn't make them a bad team.

Just kidding Doom was busting your ballllllllls. I don't follow baseball at all. I really don't hate/like any MLB teams. But according to the stats/team records, etc, I would pick Yankees/Dodgers to win the series.
P.S. You still <3 me Doom
