Hey guys whats up,
This is saint from Clantacular.com just stopping by with a event announcement on behalf of the Cavegirls. We are helping with advertising for there 2009 Fight like a Girl event to help raise money for the fight against Breast and Cervical Cancer.

OcR won the 4v4 last year and I would like to have the defending champions back to defend their title. I invite all of OcR to participate this year. It is only $10 per event, per person, or $25 for all 3 events. All the money go towards breast and cervical cancer research. We will have a FFA, 2v2, and 4v4, all of which are double elimination. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Hope to see you guys there!

Word on the street is that the wheelmen are gunning (gunning, ha ha... pun) to take the title this year. I've heard that a mr. F Bobby (aka H3WM Firehawk), is assembling an elite team to capture the ever elusive 4-man team title.

Sounds like there should be some great competition this year! Let's bring home another title.

On, another note, my offer still stands. I would love to play with a team, I just don't have the time to organize one of my own. PM me if you would like an additional teammate.

Yeah I was over on their forums and they were trying to set up a team. From the posts I read it sounded like they may be fielding a few teams.

It's always exciting to see you guys battle it out in t4v4. I'll probably have a team there, though not quite of "general" status.

But I will be in the FFA for sure. Come try and kill me. ;)

We have also just announced the Play With Bungie event for those who are interested in playing with the Bungie employees :)

We are still in need of tournament participants since we have only a few teams signed up right now. So hopefully you guys will be registering soon!

COMPLETELY not your fault. I've been in your exact situation...it stinks. And we truly wish you could have joined in the fun. Then yes, I would have had my ass handed to me by ALL THREE OcR teams. :biggrin:

Never the less we were pretty happy with our performance, considering we did not practice at all before hand, nor talk much strat until the day of. We felt like we performed well, beat teams we should have beaten and were beaten by teams who were better than us. And I managed to fight my way quite far in the FFA...made it further than last time! Woot!

How did everyone's Bungie 2v2s go? Mine were outstanding!

Dang i missed it... Last year i got in the Top 5 for the ffa and filled in like four games on the 4v4 team that took the entire event.
