I am regretfully infroming those who don't know that a couple of great players from the NHL are retiring. Mats Sundin, long time Toronto Maple Leaf, and recent Vancouver Canuck is retiring. He will not be playing for Sweden this year which gives the team a huge offensive gap to fill. Mats Sundin had a great career that is ending at the age of 38 (correct me if I'm wrong)
Also, Joe Sakic, long time captain of the Colorado Avalanche, and one of my favourite players has retired after a great career in the NHL. He has made Colorado such an enjoyable hockey team to watch and I'm glad that he had such a good career. Colorado will always be #1 in my eyes.
