Strategies?

Anyone got any strategies during game that someone might be able to use?

I was thinking something like a Phalanx. Like they used to do back in the old days. :P
Have a shield of Riot Shields with everyone else poking out through the cracks and shooting them with this big, invincible wall running at them. That'd be funny as crap.

Other things were a similar tactic, but doing it with the flag runner, like a VIP mission of sorts. Have 3 RiotShielded guys around the flag and 2 other body guards shooting down Opponents.

I dunno, Something to Think about. Anyone else?

The best way to strat cod when your playing with a team is to not push the other teams spawn if you go to far to there side of the map they will spawn behind u and if everyone is just running aroumd the spawns get rediculous but if u stay on your side of the map the other team will not spawn behind u this solves the problem will the cray spawns everyone coplaons about with cod games

Basically there is one strat that I always fall victim to and it bugs the hell out of me.

There are one or two players up front with riot shields. Being the complete jackass I am, I ALWAYS try and shoot at the riot shield guys.

Meanwhile there are two guys in the back, criss-crossing or running around with real powerful guns. They can kill me easy while I'm shooting at the riot shields or they can duck behind the riot shields while I'm shooting at them. It's really effective.

The shield guys are a great distraction even if they aren't very effective at doing much else.

OH YEAH, and ALWAYS Have a sniper watching your back.

My friends and I tried a Riot Wall, Didn't work so well. It'll take practice, but we didn't die as much as you normally would. I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty daymn Beast with a Riot Shield. That and my M4. Damn FMJ Challenge, Why do you force me to accomplish thee?

Hmm, main strat I guess I use in games, while by myself and other randoms, is move yourself slowly throughout the map, no need to rush anything, try and pin point everybody's position around the map and try and take them out. Also, on some maps, if you know theres a certain spot where people flow out of, just cover it from high ground. That's all I really could think of for now.

Battle buddies. Bounding and Overwatch are great, if it doesn't save your life it at least alerts your friend who can hopefully pick up the kill for you and get some sweet revenge.

One thing I'm in the habit of doing, but I don't know how useful it is... when running, I stop running by hitting crouch. In theory this drops my head so that an enemy would shoot above me and allowing me a moment more to sight up and return fire.

Dropping to prone also works well if you practice it a little bit.
