Favorite/Least Favorite Maps

Which multiplayer maps are you guys diggin right now and which ones do you pray get vetoed? Feel free to say why you love/hate these maps.

My three favorites would have to be:

1. The airport
2. Skidrow
3. Afghan

My least favorites are without a doubt:

1. Rundown
2. Sub station
3. Underpass

I can't stand underpass and rundown because I'm constantly getting turned around and I never know where the opposing team is. Underpass especially. Sometimes I'll spawn and not see anyone for like 5 minutes, other times I'll spawn beside a crowd of enemies. The level is too big and too complicated in my opinion.

Afghan is the outrageously horrible. Usually all the other maps are alright with me.

Invasion is my favourite map so far, it's awesome for domination. I'm not keen on Quarry, and that brown grassy map with the underground tunnel in the middle is a bucket full of ass. I've been nuked twice on that fucker because it's so easy to hide and get the AC130 and rack up stupid amounts of kills.

Nuke is confirmed for stupidest idea ever. Because that's what I love about games, having them end early.

Good Maps

Wasteland: Big open map, welcome to snipers and tunnel dwellers, I love this map because you can get some pretty nice helicopter kills and its just a smooth flowing map.

Terminal: Probably my favorite map overall, just a fun place to play.

Rundown: I like this map as well, a lot of nice buildings to stay on top of.

Karachi: If played smart this map is fun as hell.

Estate: Another one of my favorites, love playing on this map.

Derail: I love snowy maps :P

Afghan: Map is very open and thats what I love about it.

Stinky Maps

Highrise: Too much going on in this map, I do okay on it, just dont like it.

Quarry: Never played well here, too many hiding places.

Other Maps

Underpass: Sometimes I like it, other times I hate it.

Sub Base: I actually like this map a lot, should be up with the good maps, oh well ha.

Skidrow: Fun map, just gotta know how to play it.

Scrapyard: Small fast paced map, but I still enjoy it.

Invasion: Long stretch of map, lots of twists and turns, but overall a pretty good map

Well thats what I think about the maps, but it changes depending on how I do on them ha.

Afghan - Its okay, Not my favorite. I dont like getting Thermal scope'd to death. No fun.

Derail - Okay map, Has its good games and bad games so.. So so..

Estate - Bleh. I dont like Estate. Every time I play, I'm getting Spawn Camped. Not that great of a map IMO.

Favela - Personal Favorite. Riot Shields FTW. Its good for Close Quarters, like my Awesome SuperHuman Knife skills and good for Popshot sniping with my SCAR.

Highrise - Its okay. Not to big on it. I just need a better strategy for it i guess.

Invasion - Above Decent. I like the map, Just needs a little more action. Too big. :D

Karachi - Haven't played it too much, but so far its okay.

Quarry - Fail.

Rundown - Not great. I dont like it that much.

Rust - Good map, I like it for FFA with 4-6 people. Too many more and its too hectic.

Scrapyard - Decent Map. I'm not that great with it, but I have fun with it.

Skidrow - Awesome Map, #2 below Favela. Its just a great map! :D

Sub Base - Good map, First one I ever played too. I need a better strategy for this map though

Terminal - Good map for Riot Shields and Headshots. #3 on my list.

Underpass - I'm mixed with Underpass, Its just... I dunno.

Wasteland - Fail.

So yeah, thats my stuff on the maps. Terminal, Favela and Skidrow are my favorite three. Least Favs? Wasteland and Quarry.

lol, i say this earlier and then end up going 21 - 6 just now, 4 kills - drop (got an AC130!) then predator then harrier, i couldnt put a foot wrong in that game!

Rundown is my all time favorite because I've gotten 3-4 Nukes on it. Wasteland is second to that also because I've gotten 2 Nukes, I love the big maps because it makes Kill streaks a lot easier to use. Favela is excellent (the map is okay but I love the view when you get a chopper gunner) and Terminal is great too. I don't mind Skidrow but I don't like how it's used cheaply through noob tubes and gernades flying all over. Scrapyard is okay too, just got a Nuke on that map through headquarters. Underpass has to be by far, the worst map in the game since 80% of the time you get a care package that dumb bridge everyone doesn't look up to see steals your killstreaks. I don't like Karachi at all, Sub Base is okay at times and others it just blows. Afgan is the same as Sub base really, Quarry blows entirely and Estate is so and so but not too great because of the major advantage of that damn house.

I've changed my opinion up a little since last time so here it goes.

Estate: When I spawn up at the house it is ridiculously easy to sit behind the car and pick off the kids that try and come in from the site. If you have cold blooded on they will never know to look in your direction because they're so concentrated on the front door/deck of the house. Also, if you feel a little more ballsy you can push up into that open plain and hide in a few nice corners. I find people think that there are never any enemies there and can easily be caught off guard. If you have to rush the house, sometimes it's easier to jump in the front window. Often time you can catch some sniper off guard because he's constantly scoped in, and the rest of the team is staring out the front door.

Highrise: If you can control the spawns this is the easiest map to play on. I don't want to get into strategies, but if your team owns the middle of the map and avoids pushing up too far, they will only ever spawn on their side and you can just wreck them as they pour out the front windows. so many good places to crouch and shoot as well, lots of cover if you set up correctly.
