So today I was wondering what third person was like, so I played a 3rd person game and it actually wasn't too bad...What do you guys think?

It's alright but I honestly felt that the controls were a bit awkward for the 3rd person view. Just didn't feel right to me so I doubt I'll playing it at all. :P

i dont have a problem with it, just wish there was just a TD ver. of it, but otherwise i'ok and can play both 1st and 3rd preatty well, though one advantage to 3rd i found for me, was that can i use and get kills for them w/ ever useing them and i seem to get a lot more headshots in 3rd, though i have a friend that believes that 3rd gets you more xp points than regular 1st, even though i dont believe that, your opinion not mine

It's kinda like socom for the 360, but I think I'll stick to the first person gameplay...

I love 3rd person, its a great way to unlock the attachments for guns, especially if you hate the iron sights for one you just unlocked.

Fake Edit: Haven't been on in a few days due to Thanksgiving family stuff, but I'll be on later tonight.

I haven't played MW2 yet, but do they have hardcore? I just played hardcore to get my red dot on guns I didn't like the iron sights in CoD4.

Yes they do. Deathmatch, Ricochet S&D, and Ricochet HQ. The Ricochet means any times you hurt your team mates it hurts you and not them. So if you stick yourteam mates with a grenade you kill yourself and not them.

Derusso is a beast at third person, i watched him play. On Rust hes nasty. Like Rabbit said acog is awesome. I liked it but im more towards first person because im used to that. Even though i do love gears but thats different

I think it would depend upon whether or not someone's played and/or liked 3rd person(s) in general. I love to play RSV2, though that's a bit of a mix between the two.

Yea, I played SOCOM a lot back in high school, and the 3rd person in this is pretty much the same exact thing, so I was a natural.
