Hello all..... again!
Turkeys have come and been eaten, and now we are all living in the stupor of gaining too much weight and trying to get ready for Christmas. Yep, that means November is over and December has begun. So what does this past month and the month ahead mean for us here at OcR? Well I am glad you asked because now I will answer you.
Well in case you missed it (and if you did miss it I would strongly ask, "what planet are you from") Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hit shelves this month and has stirred a lot of changes here in our little piece of the internet universe. As you can see there are some new sections to the OcR forums. We have the official CoD thread (http://www.outcastreborn.com/forumdisplay.php?f=285) for everyone's viewing and discussing pleasure. For our honored members we have a new MW2 section (http://www.outcastreborn.com/forumdisplay.php?f=286) for more matters pertaining to just members. Keep an eye out on them and join in on the discussions going on for both.
Now for a bit of sad news. It always sucks to bring it but here it goes. OcR Viceraz has asked to be removed from staff and put back down into an honored member status. It's a decision none of us Staff+ liked, but as life seems to be pulling Vice away from the gaming scene for now, he wanted to make sure that the job was getting done properly, which he felt he could not do at this time. So we will miss you in the staff section Vice, but come back to console gaming soon!
Well when one door closes another door.... yeah not always true but in this case it is! As some of you have noticed we have a new staff member who will be doing something new here at OcR. We would like to congratulate OcR Doom as being our newest staff member. Doom will be heading up our newly formed and in the works Modern Warfare 2 section here at OcR. Be on the lookout for some great stuff to start happening in this section. Here is what OcR Doom had to say to you all:
I'd like to thank all of you for trusting me to have me as your newest staff member. It really does mean a lot to me, and I'm grateful for it. I'm proud to say I'm part of a community that is as respectable as Outcast Reborn. I'm looking forward to many more great games with you guys!

Another great person here at OcR to honor is our October MoM. In October the honored members here chose to nominate and vote for OcR Precision to be our newest MoM! In case you missed his interview that can be found here (http://www.outcastreborn.com/showthread.php?t=20248). He still hasn't expounded on what the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to him was, but maybe with enough prodding he will finally spill it. Congratulations again Precision, it was greatly deserved.
Now here are some things to keep your eye out for. In case you missed it make sure to check out a great charity drive that is going on. 8-Bit Brigade is doing a raffle in which all proceeds go to Child's Play. It's great that we can support this charity so go check out the thread (http://www.outcastreborn.com/showthread.php?t=20321) which has all the information on it. Be on the lookout for the November Member of the Month. Nominations are up for grabs (http://www.outcastreborn.com/showthread.php?p=194752#post194752) and voting will begin shortly after. Again keep an eye out for what OcR Doom will be doing with the MW2 section of our clan and have a great Christmas! (In case you haven't heard.... SANTA IS REAL!)
