The most screwed up, glitched match EVER to happen!

ok! i just got done playing a 9 v. 9, "Hardcore Free-For-All" on Rust.....and i picked regular team deathmatch..and it e said team deathmatch....WTF!!!! has anyone encountered stuff like this in their ENTIRE time of playing Modern Warfare 2?

it's a new glitch, it's fucking up matchmaking big time

kids are making their own custom games and glitching them to be "ranked" matches so they can boost all day in unlimited time/score games on rust

it's almost impossible to find legit matches right now, half the games are custom

Yeah, it's just been happening to me since the update. Seems like every 3rd or 4th game of Ground War pops us into a private match.

yea, its people custom xp boosting and it brings searching people into their custom games. domination has also been bringing up to 18 people into a match... its pretty frustrating

Yup I went into Ground War last night, I joined a game that was on Rust, which confused me since I never played that map in MM yet. It didn't last long though, a guy used chopper gunner and then got the nuke and ended it.

well, Valorius and Moose both have a good point, rank in Cod means nothing, mainly because people glitch to the max rank all the time, and yes mainly it's the K/D that is important, though im not that all big on it, to me it's like Gears of War 2, both rank and K/D mean absolutely nothing, but that's not the point

well i was mostly joking. To the gears thing k/d is the only thing that you can tell if someone was consistently good. Me and DeRusso always talked about k/d and if it was below 1.3 there were usually pretty bad, kinda not as quick at the game, used the chainsaw only, and easy to kill. If there were above 1.6 and we knew they were pretty good, good with most of the weapons, or used the lancer only in some cases.

Havnt played hardly at all since the update and it honestly sounds like im not missing much, IW cant do multiplayer and they once again have showed us just how compitent they are

I heard last night that in Hardcore, Ricochet and something else (Sabotage?) they had games where there was infinite ammo and no reloading. I didn't get to try it out though. Thumbs up, IW!

Last night I saw a brand new glitch. I wa playing team express deathmatch, or whatever its called and saw a guy on top of a buildling launching a grenade out of his attachment every eighth of a second continuously for a solid two minutes. The entire level shook and nobody could even get close to him. This game is getting seriously screwed up as they try and fix it. Patch fail FTL.

Yeah, 3 out of the 3 headquarters games I just went into were infinite ammo glitched lobbies. I was pretty pissed until one of my teammates called in an AC-130 and the 105mm shell was glitched the same way! :wideeyed: It looked like a beam of hell was being rained down on the map.

Think about all the kids waiting for x-mas to get this. They, IMO, missed out. They get the normal no glitches or mods MW2. We get both glitched fun, then normal COD once it is fixed.

Played domination. Couldn't find a single game. So since I was on my secondary I said screw it I am going to play this. Well after I got the hang of the glitch I went 28-2 and got my first nuke in such a cheep way! HAHA I can't even consider it a real nuke either lol.

as far as i can tell, as what I'm hearing and what I'm seeing so far, Modern Warfare 2 is starting to really turn into what World at War was in the beginning, a massively glitched game, I'm REALLY hoping that it will get fixed ASAP, because this is a good game nevertheless, at least in my opinion

TD and FFA seem to be the only lobbies where I haven't seen any glitched gametypes. Ground War, Domination and HQ are pretty much all messed up.

That's because both of those don't matter in these glitches. These glitches are about people getting nukes and ton's of kills. So glitching games based off of kills doesnt help at all. Basically if you like Objective games you are BONED.

In case you can't see it.... All I am saying is that this game, AS IS RIGHT NOW, is NOT worth 60 dollars and could quite possibly be the most broken, massive franchise, game to be sold to date on the 360. Sorry if you can't see it. I am not a fanboy of this game. I bought this game because people told me it would be the best multiplayer of the year. I bought it because friends told me too. I never even owned CoD4. Sure will the fix it? Well lets hope so (and here is to hoping the next patch wont break even more stuff) But as a consumer with no previous attachments to the game I am very disappointed with this game I bought. It makes me wish I would have bought another single player game with a better (and longer) campaign.

Again I am not saying they wont fix it, and maybe by the time they do fix it it will actually be worth something. Sorry if you get offended so easily over me not liking your favorite game EVER!

i am by far a fanboy dude. i would love to stick to halo but they charge people 60 bucks for 3 maps and a bs game. theres a simple way to get around the glitches and that is to get in a full party which most of the times will prevent it in itself, or just back out everytime you get in one... its really not that hard.

they never do it immediately, they update the mlg playlist at the same time they update the other playlists, and announce it ahead of time when they're going to do it

Aaron, we all know it's broken and that Infinity Ward needs to get their act together and fix it as it should not have been broken in the first place for such a major release. However, this does not mean that we should all go about ranting about how their game sucks, blah blah. Say it once and be done. The point has been stated.

Fanboys, what you all need to realize is that I see where Aaron (Valorius) is coming from. Halo gets hated on all the time and people kept saying they were going to give up on it, etc. He's saying that some people can dish out the criticism but they cannnot take it. Everyone has their preferences and is expected to have differing opninions.

Two things to take from this.


Once something has been said once, please do not continue to complain about it. We all are mature and realize that nothing is perfect. No need to beat it dead.
Please realize that we need to be able to TAKE criticism. Pride is a powerful emotion and can sometimes get the best of us. Let's all learn to realize that we are not always right.
