Pave Low's and Killstreaks.

There are a lot of questions floating around about the pave low. One reoccurring issue is whether or not the pave low counts toward your killstreak. I found out first hand that they do, and here is what I uncovered after a little research:

"The Pave Low has some strange behavior when adding to existing kills streaks. The logic appears to be as follows:

-If the user earns a Pave Low and the Pave Low gets the next kill then Pave Low's kills will NOT be added to the current kill streak. However, if the user gets a kill before the Pave Low, the Pave Low's kills will continue the killstreak.
-Kills from Pave Lows earned from Care Packages will continue the current kill streak. This appears to be a bug, as Care Packages are not supposed to add to kill streaks."

I called mine in and got a kill before the pave low did. I'll have to test it.

if you havent died when you call it in it counts, how ever if you die then call it in straight away it doesnt you have to get a kill first

I would say so. I dint know that sometimes they do count and other times not. To me it seems like a simple formula...

(1) Did it kill something?

No - it doesn't count towards your kill streak
Yes - go to question 2

(2) Were you the one to use/deploy it?

No - it doesn't count towards you kill streak
Yes - is counts towards your kill streak

That def. backs up what happened to me then. I earned the pavelow camped in a building let it get about 9 kills then started to kill again and they did NOT count for my killstreak. Glad it has been confirmed so I can start using it again and test it out but it may be hard since my new record is 29.

They should really fix that bug, I dragged myself trying to reach rank 35 just to get a new killstreak because the pavelow was just not getting me that chopper gunner.

Question: I know that if i die and then deploy something it won't count towards the killstreak. But what if I get a kill and then deploy it. Will it continue my current killstreak or does it not count since you havent used it in the life that you earned it in?
