If you came to this thread thinking, omg is Clantac really hosting a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 tournament, then you are correct. Clantacular.com is proud to present its first Call of Duty Tournament.
This event will be using Hardcore settings only. Maps will be chosen 3 days before the tourney starts. The brackets will be set up as Single Elimination. The rounds will be best of 3 games. In the event of a tie, round 3 will be replayed until a winner has been declared.
In order to participate, the Team Leader or Captain must be registered on Clantacular.com. The teams will consist of 5 players on each team. For registration, the Team Leader of Captain has to sign up in the Tourney Registration thread including exact spelling of each Gamertag and their team name (has to be appropriate).
The brackets will be generated randomly. Round 1 will need to be completed within 2 days of Tourney start. Round 2 will begin after the 2nd day of Round 1 and will also end 2 days later. The same will go for the rounds after depending on the amount of teams that register.
Registration starts Tuesday December 22, 2009.

Round 1 starts Friday January 1, 2010 12:01am Eastern.
Round 1 ends Sunday January 3, 2010 11:59pm Eastern.

Round 3 starts Thursday January 7, 2010 12:01am Eastern.
Round 3 ends Saturday January 9, 2010 11:59pm Eastern.
Semi-Finals start Sunday January 10, 2010 12:01am Eastern.
Semi-Finals end Sunday January 10, 2010 11:59pm Eastern.

Once a Team has finished their games for the round, they will need to post Their Team Name vs Opponent's Team Name with each round's scores. This means the Team Leaders will need to record the scores for each game on a piece of paper and then post the results in the designated thread for that round. 1 Team MUST report the scores in the correct format, and then the other Team must quote that game report on the forums and reply with the word "Confirmed". If there is a problem then there will be a dispute thread.
The prizes for this tourney are TBD (To Be Determined).
