I got really bored and noticed how sloppy the FAQ thread for CoD was so i made it a lil easier to read. I must ask that nobody please post on this form and that its closed so that we can keep this a clean thread. Post in the other thread for questions and we can post the Q & A on this through editing
I gave credit to ppl who answered. if i thought other ppls answers were to long or drawn out i just threw in my own.
some things needed be bolded when i transfered them here any volunteers for that?

Q:I do not understand the whole radar aspect. Why is there no red arrows half the time and a guy melees me right next to me. Is it like a crouch walk thing where you disappear on radar?- Rhino
A:The radar will only show people who are firing their weapon unless your team has a UAV up in the air which shows everyone on the other team. (Think of it as an unmanned plane that is hovering overhead that sees the battlefield (which is essentially what it is )). However, some players may have a Perk on their class that allows them to be "invisible" to the UAVs, Heart Monitors, etc. I think their names are the Cold-Blooded perks. - Rocketr
The UAV is providing a snap shot of the location of enemies at that second.. if they are moving quickly enough, they can be well away from where their red dot is before the UAV makes another pass over the battlefield and takes another snapshot - Rabbit
Q:How do people lay down on the ground I just seem to crouch all the time does it depend on your weapon? - Rhino
A: Hold B for Prone, Tap B for Crouch and then B to stand up again. - Prunk
Q:What is the best way to level up at first to unlock more weapons, perks, upgrades? - Rhino
A: Kill people. The Challenges section in the Barracks shows where you are in unlocking those things and earning more XP to level up.

Kills arent always the best. completing Objectives gives you more exp - Prunk

A: Completing Challenges gives you XP which helps you lvl up faster, Certain Challenges unlock different Titles - Prunk

I have used the grenade launcher add on at times when needed but when is it most effective to use when there is a group or someone hiding?

A: The noob tube is best used when you know when a player is hiding in a corner or behind a wall that you cant get to. Most players attach High Explosive and Scavenge to their noob tube and use it as a primary. Not recomended because it pisses off a lot of ppl. - Prunk

A: Depends Pistols/Auto Pistols are great if u run out of ammo and theres ppl around because you can switch to it so fast, Shotguns are always useful Close Range, Launchers Amazing vs Vehicles (always have one class with a stinger just in case) - Prunk
Q:whenever your crouched you dont make any noise when moving which kinda gives you away to the enemy if they pay attention to their surroundings. - Hurricane
A: Once you get Ninja Pro, you have silent footsteps all over. - Random

A: if you have a UAV up (3 kill streak, if you have that streak equipped), the red dots still won't move.. the UAV above is providing a snap shot of the location of enemies at that second.. if they are moving quickly enough, they can be well away from where their red dot is before the UAV makes another pass over the battlefield and takes another snapshot
it's important to know that the radar is never current, the information is already old by the time you see it, you could be falling into a trap.. sometimes i will fire my gun to put my dot on the map and then move away from my dot to a defensible position.. i haven't seen many (or any) people use this yet, but still, keep it in mind.. simply use the red dot to see that there is an enemy SOMEWHERE in that area, but ignore the exact position - Rabbit

A:You can only change the appearance of your gun by different camo. What's odd is that sometimes it appears as though your character's camo will match the gun, but not all the time. Also, when playing, your character is selected at random. There is no real specifying about what he looks like.- Rocketr

A: High Calibar Shit, use flash bangs and Spray the legs to make them stumble. also use stuns when a partner is down so u can revive them real quick - Prunk

A: Last till the explode or till you die and respawn. they disapear the instant you spawn after dying - Prunk
in SD they stay up after you die, up until the round is over. -Precision/Lycan
Q:Can you die from claymores if they are your own teams? - Rhino
A: You can only die from a teammates claymores if a person from the other team shoots it and you get caught in the blast.- Prunk
Q:Has anyone got the translations of what the Russians, Militia, etc say in Multiplayer? The equivalents of "Tango Down", "reloading" and so forth? - Gimp
A: No exact Translation for any but when you hear a russian scream watch out for a nade. - Prunk
Q:How does the killstreaks work exactly - FAQ
A: Question still in study. Care Packages dont usually add up to kill streak, but they can. Ex.) Get a 4 killstreak and call in a Care Package (CP) you get a pavelow. you flip the switch to summon the Pavelow to the map. You have to get a kill before your pavelow kills someone on the map. in order for it to count towards a kill streak.
This is not true all the time but does occur.
Dieing at any point resets you KS and anything you called in from your previous life does not count towards your next streak. however anything you earned from you previous life that hasnt been summoned can still earn you a KS- Prunk

A: Call on red dots, if no red dots on screen wait for a UAV or if your in objective game just place it on the objective - Prunk
