Sick and Tired of all these Boosters and Glitch users....

These boosters have probably sent me a few dozen msg's saying that if i pay them they will get me to 10th prestige. I find that it takes away from the game and is rly annoying to players who actually take the time and get there on their own. I think that Live should track these boosters down and Ban them more than what they are now. Also the fact that i get in these games with all these glitch users. For one they have Marathon and Lightweight on and to make themselves faster they use the care package run faster glitch to run around and knife everyone they see. Like they have no skill at all. Also ive been in a game that has had a clan (not mentioning names) glitch the game so that they would have unlimited care packages giving themselves unlimited air support causing the other team to lose unfairly. I wish that Infinity ward and Live would team up and use Game masters (almost like the ones in World of Warcraft) to help patrol the games and get rid of all these boosters hackers and glitchers. Sry to rant but this has been rly irritating to me lately. =)

Its hardly real life. Its in the game and its an easy way to get challenges. Don't complain about something put into the actual game.

Yeah I would get a lot of those messages too, but I also get them in Halo from people either boosting or selling 50's. There really isn't much you can do about it, it's just gonna happen.

But the game glitches in MW2 are never ending, there is a new one each week it seems.

Yes you can. But that's all you can do. It may seem annoying at some in some respects but also does take a fair amount of skill because if you meet a person outside of knife range you are very easy to kill.

Those runners are also extremely useful and tactical in CTF games.

Rabbit, i know it's not a military sim, perhaps that was the wrong word, but it is supposed to represent modern warfare, which is not lots of people running around with knives.

It's become a part of gaming, unfortunately, but it is what it is. Personally, it's always amazed me how people manage to find every little thing to exploit in the game, don't know how they do it. It's not terrible right now, you run into them every now and then, sometimes more often than not. As for runners, like J2 said, it does take some amount of skill, and they are very useful on certain maps, though not all. Plus, who doesn't like running around and stabbing people?

i dont see why they would bother fixing it? its no more annoying than the over powering of the models. i think its a fair trade

Naturally with all of us connecting through Halo, it is hard for some to get used to the differences in gameplay, you can't make it from one side of the map to the other on Halo in 3.2 seconds and people just get pissed off because they can't comprehend that if you simply position yourself at a good angle then the knifers won't succeed.

Personally, I find a way to use the unlimited care package people to my advantage. Since it's like 300 experience to take down a Harrier, 400 for a Pave-Low, 400 or so for the chopper gunner, 400 for the AC-130, and i think 300 for the attack helicopter (please don't quote me on these numbers, i haven't played in about a week). All I do is put the stinger, cold blooded, and scavenger on my sniper class, and then the only purpose their air "support" has is to provide me with the all-important experience.

I only hate the delay, other than that nothing else bothers me. If they suck enough to have to use glitches than that probably means you will win either way :D

Went up against someone obviously glitching yesterday, every few seconds it was just, enemy predator missile incoming, AC130, gunships, pavelows, every damn thing. Fortunately for our team it was domination, and they spent too long playing with air support and forgot to capture the objectives, so we won by miles!

It was lagging ridiculous amounts yesterday too, anyone else have much of a problem with lag? and when it just takes over control of you sending you in random directions which you can do nothing about!

Hmmmm interesting. I haven't heard anything about this. At this point my only concern is with the annoying care package glitch. Should be interesting to see how Microsoft deals with these problems in the future.

Anyways, back on topic. I witnessed this myself yesterday when i played a game on my roommates xbox during halftime during the superbowl. In quick succession there were two ac130s, multiple harriers and like 4 emergency airdrops. It was on domination and we were up significantly, but they made a comeback to take the lead. Luckily I was able to find the guy doing it and kill him, though there was nothing to steal. In the end we ended up winning the game. I always get a kick out of beating cheaters... it shows how worthless cheating is (and how bad the people are) when you cant even win by cheating.

It's so much better when the cheater(s) have no idea what the hell to do with their carepackages, predators, airstrikes etc. and put that AC130 up and get 2 kills with it. It proves how bad you are when you're cheating and you can't even get to the top of the scoreboard.

If kids are starting to figure out how to fly around outside of a map who knows how long it will be til they have 360 auto aim and I have to find a new game to play... hopefully Infinity Ward has the manpower and time to dedicate to getting rid of glitchers at least for the most part.
