Having to pay things off sucks so I'll have to be putting my purchase on hold for a couple of months,
BACK ON TOPIC, I would participate but I just can't get into halo or play it all that well.

I might get in on this, will give me a reason to continue playing Halo 3 if that's what this tourny is for. I'm guessing it is for Halo 3 since one of the prizes is a game stop gift card to pre-order Reach with.

I'm assuming it's for H3, yeah. Some great looking prizes there too; hopefully there is some interest, we have some great Halo players!

Hrumph $40 a team and you think you'll get 32 teams? Doubtful.
I'd love to see you guys register up a team but I would wait on putting any money up to make sure this thing really happens.

I agree. If they don't fill the quota the prizes don't exist.

Here is the rules for anyone who is too lazy to go to the site.
these are the basic signup rules and the other 4 pages are rules for gameplay...
Thank god they banned dinosaurs in tourny play.
Tourney Rules & Regulations (overview)
These Rules & Regulations must be followed and abide too! Any deviation from these Rules & Regulations can lead to further consequence up to and including disqualification
1. This is a 32 team Tourney! The Tourney will proceed as planned unless less than 16 teams register. (All prizes will stay the same whether 16 or 32 teams register)
2. Game time will start Saturday 12pm est to when 1st round of brackets are over and Restart Sunday 12pm est and end 9pm est with Championship game!
3. CLANS OR TEAMS are only allowed to enter 1 team!!
3. All games will count towards CLANTACULAR.COM's Winter Season Ladder
4. The Tourney is set for a 4v4 Double elimination Bracket.
5. Each match will be best of 3 games.
6. The 1st game will be MLG CTF, 2nd game will be MLG TS, the 3rd and Final Game if needed will be MLG Ball!
7. The Semi-Finals and Championship Game will be best of 5.
8. The 1st game will be MLG CTF, 2nd MLG TS, 3rd MLG Ball, 4th if needed MLG TS and 5th and final game if needed will MLG CTF.
9. All Games will be played on MLG V7, MLG V6.1 Maps and Game Variants.
10. Game maps will be chosen Randomly prior to Game time for each match by the referee's
11. All Games will be scheduled so your clan/or team is not sitting in front of the XBOX all day.
12. Game time Schedules will be available on www.ShadowClanFAF.com (http://www.ShadowClanFAF.com) or www.Clantacular.com (http://www.Clantacular.com) two 2 days before game day!
13. 30 minutes Prior to game time your team should be assembled and be awaiting an invite from a tourney referee! (There are time limits to accept game invites and rules for proper behavior in game lobbies that will be reviewed on Page 2)
14. When you enter the Game Lobby the Tourney Referee will Answer up to 3 questions that your Clan/ or Team may have.
15. Players will be allowed one at a time to adjust their controller settings and customize the appearance of their characters.
16. When all questions are Answered the Tourney Referee will set The Game Map and Game Type.
17. A random Clan/or Team will be selected prior to the match as to who will host the 1st game. (lag rules will be reviewed on page 3)
18. The referee will perform a lag test (more details on page 3)
19. At that time the referee will make that clan/or team leader host. Wish the teams luck and leave the room.
20. The 2nd game will be hosted by the other clan/or team who did not host the 1st game, and the 3rd game will go back to the original host.
21. After each game both clan leaders are expected to rejoin there Referee's Game Lobby where he will be waiting to set Game Maps, Game Types, and give the right team host.
22. When the games are complete the Clan/or Team leader then needs to register the battles. The link will be available on www.ShadowClanFAF.com (http://www.ShadowClanFAF.com) or www.Clantacular.com (http://www.Clantacular.com) on game day!
23. Only the Leader who registered their Clan/ or team in the Tourney will be allowed to register the battles. The Gamer tag must match the registration in order for games to be counted.
24. When the leader clicks the (Register Battles) link it will be take them to the forums where they will need to cut and paste game links from Bungie.
25. The games will be reviewed for validation of teams, gamer tags, etc...etc..
26. Once validated the tourney bracket will be updated instantly! For your Clan/or Teams viewing.
27. All Fee's are NON-Refundable unless Tourney is canceled or Something catastrophic prevents the tournament from happening. EX. Natural disaster, WAR etc...etc...
28. Once you click submit on the application and pay your fee you are committing to following all rules and regulations of the Tourney!
29. The Clan/or Team leader is responsible for his/or her Clan/or Team!
30. Arguing with the Event Moderators about a decision may result in disqualification from the tournament.
