Honestly, I can't wait for this game. The series had me at European Assault on the Original Xbox. This one just looks sick.

Sounds like this one might have a storyline. That immediately puts it above CoD.

Just got an e-mail today...You have to pre-order the game to gain access to the multiplayer beta on June 21. VIP members of BF:BC2 will have access by June 17 fo' frizzle.

Do you have to own BF: BC2? Or do they send you a code?

I think being a VIP member in BF : BC2 means you pre-ordered the game.

I mean't do you have to have the disc in order to play to play it, or do they send you a code to download it.
I have VIP from BF: BC2.

I believe they distribute the codes to the VIP's on MoH (http://www.medalofhonor.com/)

Yep! It definitely seems that way. Only thing that I don't like from what I have seen so far is the stupid way the XP Points show up. They're too distracting with such a flashy presentation of them. Be more simplistic like in MW2 or BF:BC2.

ill pick it up if the beta is good, i like the weapon customization and it looks like they nerfed the noob tubes a bit.

From what I've gathered, this is essentially Battlefield Bad Company 3. However, there seem to be some plusses to this game.
Everything looks crisp, clean, bright and large. In battlefield, I always feel like the enemies are small and insignificant, too easy to miss sometimes. This looks like a nice mix of MW and BF.
Hugely disappointed though when he said the environments weren't going to be as destructible. The one thing about battlefield that made me love it was the ability to drop a house on some camper's head.
Like half said, I'll have to check the beta before making a final decision.

Played the Beta for a couple hours on the PC last weekend and it was alright but I didn't really enjoy it as much as BF:BC2 or even MW2 for that matter. Granted, when they say Beta, it really is in Beta state. There are quite a few problems that have and only 2 maps were included with one gametype locked to each of those.
It plays a lot more like MW than BC2. You have killstreak rewards and vehicles play a lesser role. The maps are a lot more closed than they are in BC2 which fits to MW's style.
Also, everytime you gain points by killing someone, it obnoxiously shows this presentation of the points. It's too distracting. I much prefer MW and BC2's way of showing points.

I agree. At first glance it looks like a nice mix. It is very disappointing that the environment won't be as player destructible; that's one of the best things about BC2.

That's too bad to hear. I was looking forward to some vehicle gameplay with big maps to roam around in.
Definitely agree with the overly flashy kill markers. Good to know somebody has played the beta!
