Summer Time
Well boys and girls, we are finally into the summer months. The sun is shining and the weather is fine. School is out for the summer and many of us are finding a whole lot of free time on our hands (at least for those who are not working). Unfortunately the combination of weather and free time does not bode well for our Xboxes. As expected, forum and xbox live activity is in the decline. However, that said we still have our die hard forum junkies keeping the site active (and giving me something to read on my phone on the golf course).
Just remember to be safe in your merrymaking this summer!
Events
This June Outcast Reborn was proud to field six competitiors to the GGN’s tounament of champions! This was a GGN sponsored one on one tournament that took place over the last month and a half. Congrats to OcR Yeshus, OcR Xenu, Grizzyy, OcR Carcass, OcR Epicgotrice, and OcR Rabbit. Of these players we had four make it to the sweet sixteen, two to the round of eight, and one to the final four! Congratulations are in order for our highest finisher, OcR Rabbit (otherwise known as OcR Team Edward)!

OcR was also proud to bring back the ever-popular Clan Night (http://www.outcastreborn.com/showthread.php?p=222264) on June 27th. There was a high turnout, and word on the street is that a good time was had by all! Shenanigans galore…
For those who were unable to attend fret not. Given the popularity and turn out, you can expect this to happen again. You (and I) will have another opportunity to attend an event like this. Dates haven’t been settled as of yet, so keep checking in!

Let us all give a big welcome to the newest member of our community Chicken w a BR! Although he was not official until July 3rd, we will give him his congratulations in this June’s update.
Let us also congratulate OcR HalfBreed on winning the Member of the Month contest! Some say the third time’s the charm… Half lost count and found his charm on the fifth try. Well played ‘ol chap.

As you may have noticed we have closed down clan applications for the time being. This will likely last through the release of Halo: Reach. The staff will take this time to reevaluate and discuss the current recruitment process. If you have questions or comments regarding the closing of applications ask away in this thread (http://www.outcastreborn.com/showthread.php?p=222840). Also, you can always PM one of the Staff+ with your questions.
