How do you Gain Rep?

Rep is determined by your peers. Forum users can give someone rep. The amount they give is based on their rep power.

Only Staff+ is allowed to give you negative rep.

Rep Power = Number of threads started + number of posts + how long you have been registered / (not really sure) ;)

To give/take rep you must do it based on a specific post. Under the persons info(left hand side) you'll see some icons. One of these icons is the rep option. It also allows you to enter a comment, the comment can be seen by the user the next time they login.

You may only rep once per post and you may only rep the same person three times in 24 hours.

Don't abuse the system, Admins can easily remove rep from any user. It's ment to be used when someone actually posts something useful, funny or just otherwise entertaining.

Also Staff+ has the ability to give negative rep if someone posts something they do not approve of but does not break any of the forum rules.

You can edit your rep via the Admin-CP but you can not rep yourself like you would someone else.
