Ugh, I dont like this. I'm not afraid of the operation I am afraid of the sodium tethanol intravenus I get. Has anyone had this? I don't want to lose consciousness. Thats scary I don't feel like typing why because I'm not going to type an essay or get anyone mad. In a nutshell this is what I think death feels like, nothingness. One second you are awake with all your senses then everything you know, feel, see, hear, all your emotions, consciousness, all gone in an instant. I don't want to experience that at all, thats fucking scary.

Also it's stupid...I shouldn't smoke tonight /tomorrow right? I need everything out of my brain before it shuts down. Like I know you can't eat or drink 8 hours prior because when the sodium tethanol hits it shuts down everything in your brain, and as a reaction anything in your digestive track gets thrown up. I have no idea what would happen if chemicals from another drug where already present in my brain? I'm absolutely going to see if they can give me local anesthetic instead of general so I can break those rules, I don't care if I'm awake, I want to be awake. That would be sweet if they gave me morphine or somehting cool but I would expect those little novacaine injections in my gum, which to me would be better than going under general anesthetics. Ah not lookin foward to it I'm not scared of anything but the experience...only good thing is I'll milk it and ditch all my responsibilities for 2-3 days after, perfect timing for the beta and no I didn't do that on purpose I scheduled this like 4 months ago and just got lucky I guess : )

dude, no no no. you got it all wrong. i got my wisdom out before xmas this year, i only had 3 for some reason...... but anways. its awesome. you get drugged you get high you have a good time and dont even realize it. i was just chilln in the room in the dentist chair and there like breath into this, and you feel like you count to like 30 but you get to like 5 and its like 4 hours later. aparently i was singing xmas songs in the lobby and stuff and didnt stop till like hours after i got home, only thing that sucks is not eating afterwords. no worries dude. its fun.

Yeah? They give you n2o to breathe into right? Thats a nice feeling, I was on that for about 2 hours at the dentist once and threw up all over but I was on cloud 9 and all I could think was "When you sober up you're going to be so mad at yourself for this"

Yeah it's not really the pain or operation, I was initially worried that losing consciousness and getting detached from reality would fuck with my head and be scary but thinking about it I assume it will be like I blink, like I go under and am up, with no perception of time etc. And now I'm worried about smoking. I only smoke a little every night because it 100% helps me sleep. The recovery days will be a bitch too, I did something stupid and got my name red flagged so whenever I try to get a script for a controlled substance it wont pass, so I'll get tylenol 3s or something else bs, and have to waste money buying stronger pain killers on my own.

Yeah I guess it wont be so bad, I just have to be lame and think the hell out of everything even little stupid stuff like this.

smoking might suck because i know that when i got mine taked out they told me not to drink through a staw. I know that it is not the same but causing suction might do the same thing. causes a lot of pain man, horrible feeling.

but pain was no issue for me, i had them taken out then the next day i played softball for my churches competetive league with no problems. then two weeks later i had sinus surgery.

but then again i love going out just the feeling, and i love the shit load of vicadin (sp) that they gave me. god i love the feeling.

well this might be to late but i started drinking pineapple juice 3 days before hand and i had absolutely no swelling. so if you have the time it actually works.

I had them taken out i really isn't that big of a deal. I was smoking within 12 hours and It didn't hurt. For those first 12 hours though I was knocked out cold. I don't remember anything except waking up in my bed with drool and blood everywhere :P

I've had 3 surgerys in my ankle in the past year. Being put under is fun as fuck. lol.

Dude, don't worry about it. I felt the same way you did when I had mine taken out. All they do is give you gas, put the IV in your arm, ask you to look at the ceiling and then the next thing you know...you wake up. It's really a breeze so don't worry.

Yeah it wasn't bad I just got back...I forgot to ask but they put something in me first, like just because I was paranoid I asked the lady "If an individual were to inhale marijuana smoke prior to this, would it have any effect on the outcome" and she said no, but she said what she was injecting me with first would make me feel "stoned" as she described it, which it kind of did, and I dont remember anything after that it was actually pretty cool.

Only problem is they gave me some tylenol shit for pain, I can take 30mg of percocet at once and barely feel an effect so this isn't going to touch me I think I already threw it out but the amnesia with that shit they gave me first is unbelievable.
