Halo 3 Release Date Question

Bungie says that the official date will be on September 25th, but I have experienced many delays with previous games that I was waiting for.

My question is.. For Halo 2 and Halo, when they announced the date for them, was released exactly on time, or was it delayed?

not sure about h1.. but i don't think there was h2 delays.. I don't think bungie are the "delaying" people

Where is the article where Bungie announced the release date at? I thought it was still just a Fall release date. I figured November since all the other Halo games came out then but the sooner the better. I just preordered the collectors edition at gamestop but they had no release date yet.

There wasn't any delays with H2. There was fake release dates but once bungie announced it it remained Novemember 9th.

I no for halo 2 it was pushed back because they wanted to put xbox live on it..... and im not sure about halo.
