Compensation for lost beta time

Actually, I misread the question, heh, but yeah, I'd like them to extend it longer, but that means that I would have to rent the game longer xP.

I would like to see that happen but I highly doubt it will. I'm just making up stories to people who are jacking off about the beta, telling them I accidentally bought crackdown and just got the F&F email today, so I'll trade them my fake F&F code for a 2 month, hopefully I get at least one 2 month.

from what i understand asians is that the beta is a downlaod and is saved to ur harddrive. So you only need crackdown just to dl it not to play it

Nope, when you buy Crackdown there is a little insctructions page inside that says once you download the beta you have to use Crackdown to get into the Halo 3 Beta every time you play.

thats so hono - i guess ill have to rent it for 3 weeks - the late fees will still be less than buying the game;)

Yes, and Blockbuster also has that no late fees thing. I just rented Oblivion and I had it for 2 weeks and only had to pay $1.25 for a restocking fee ;) I would call your local Blockbuster and make sure there one of the participating stores first though.

Oh yeah and make sure you return it before that final deadline, like mine was 7 days after the return date. Because if you don't they will charge your Credit card for the price of the game your renting.

i just read on another thread in member discussion that asians said the blockbuster only stocks standard copies - the ones without the code - w/e ill just go out and buy it and return it when it is over

They extended it until June 10th now. Also you do need the crackdown disk to play the Beta like I posted elsewhere along with the fact theat most rental places stock the standard games also correct. Just go buy it or look on ebay in a few days for some beta codes being sold on there it will happen.
