Yes, i admit. I play Pokemon. But Im not a complete freak. I remember back in Elementary school, Pokemon was the shit! We'd have two kids battling each other at recess and a huge group of people trying to look over their shoulders and watch them battle. That game took over our lives, including mine in tose days.

Now Im just a casual player and I just got the new version for the DS (Pokemon: Pearl) and have been playing that quite a bit. They really are still pretty fun.

WOWOWOWOW, another pokemon fan...OWN pokemon is still awesome I play it on my micro when I'm in class still its my portable game I always play. My Agron would own all pokemon that stand in his way.lol.

I just bought the fire red version for the gameboy advance. It's just a remake of the original red version with better graphics and a few bonuses. It's still fun as hell. On my old red version, I had 148 of the 151 pokemon and then my friend deleted my game. I was about to kill him.

And Socrates, my Lugia and my Pikachu could KILL your agron. Shut it.

Haha thats funny I just bought my lil cousin the new one a few days ago. I'm not going to lie, I loved that when I was in like 4th-5th grade. I remember there was some glitch pokemon like he was a blob of blocks and if you caught him it could fuck up your game or something, I cought him and later at my ripe age of 12ish was on the phone an hour later with nintendo people in tears because I didn't want to lose my pokemon haha those were the days. I'm going to play my cousins while I wait for h3 to download.

Yeah that was the guy, I have been playing my cousins pearl version or whatever while waiting for h3 to work, hahaha it's sad I find it pretty entertaining I think pokemon is probably one of the most successfull series ever made, it seems like such a simple concept but it works.

Ha I dont remember I just play my cousins. It's the fire monkey thats like the new fire lizard guy from the oldschool one. Its level 30 I think. In the really old one I used to roll with that magician guy abra kadabra, that alien thing who carried around an ice cream spoon.

Who gives a shit man? Pokemon was the SHIT back in the day. You were a nerd if you didn't like it. It was like crack for a lot of kids, me included. My mom could talk me into almost anything if she tempted me with Pokemon Cards.

I never played the card game. I was a pure collector. I still have most of my holographics and I have a big box about 2 feet high and 2 feet long that is full to the top of pokemon cards. I wish I could see how much money my parents and I spent on those pieces of paper.

I was reading through this thread and thinking. NINTENDO NEEDS TO GET RID OF FUCKING FRIEND CODES! I am seriously considering buying both a DS and a Wii, but part of the reason that I'm hesitating is because of the lack of online support. The Wii channels are cool as shit, but as for online games? How many are there? One or two at most. I'm definitely buying a Wii when the new Super Smash Bros. comes out, but Nintendo really needs to refine its online capabilities for both systems.

There is some online for the DS. Like you can play Mario Kart on the DS through Wi-Fi. I also dont get why they just dont use Wi-Fi for something like Xbox LIVE.

I use Wi-Fi for my Xbox Live. Wi-Fi is just a wireless network. It's not separate from the internet.

Some Online gaming for the DS? From the looks of it, online gaming is blossoming for the little nintendo portable. Crazy to think that a few years ago we linked up with regular wires.. Jeeze technology.

And that's the only downside I have with Nintendo products. I've been a nintendo fanboy for a while now, but I disliked the fact that their online system was inferior compared to Microsoft/Sony.
