SicKs Beta Review

ok heres my thoughts of some of the good and bad points of the beta

GOOD:
graphics are amazing
so many diffrent weponds to chosse from
mongoose need i say more
new medals
RECORED YOUR GAMES!!!!!!

BADS:
sickly over powered neddler
cant BxB or BxR
cheating (yes they did follow us into halo 3)
cant listem to music while playing
the little kids that think tea-bagging someone means somthing

now i know that this is just a beta but i like this way better than halo 2 already
i think that but the time that halo 3 comes out most of these problems will be fixed

Little kids will always tea-bag, it's better because you can mute them really fast.

Graphics are good, I hate nerds that get off to graphics but I play h3 then play h2 and h2 looks all ghetto now.

Eh... I really don't think the needler is too bad. It's pretty hard to aim if you are more than 10 feet from your target. The worst change to the game is by far the warthog turret. Those things are so fucking strong! They were weak in Halo 2, but Bungie put a little too much power into those things. Also, the shield that protects the gunner is larger, so they're a lot harder to snipe.

I think sniping is a lot better. I pretty much rock everyone else with the sniper. Less auto-aim is a good thing too. It takes more skill to actually pull off kills. Despite what some say, I can usually still get a four-five shot kill with the BR.

I've yet to see a good consistant sniper and I;ve seen guys with blocks and stars for pictures snipe, you should definatly play some btb with me and snipe man, btb for h3 is going to be sick, you get mad recognition if you can snipe at high levels in btb. I'm practicing driving in btb and support and stuff, I'm okay btb h3 snipe but I know someone here can do better.

I don't want to overhype myself and then let people down, but so far I haven't seen a sniper that was better than me in Halo 3. There were some that might have matched my level, but especially on Valhalla, I'm pretty tough to beat. And I would love to play some BTB. Just let me know when. I have finals next week, but this weekend is Memorial Day, so let the BTB begin!

envy is pretty good with snipe. when btb goes live for beta we should get a 6 man ocr team in there. ive been rocking as gunner with the turret if i have a good driver. snip is okay but im getting better with br /carbine. h3 is going to be awesome

just to tell you those blocks and crap do not stand for anything man.

and i think that sniping on halo 3 is easier than halo 2 and that is alot because i used to be pretty redic when i played alot...which was like january of 2006 :o

yeah halo 2 is now a bland game.

Yeah but some of them you have to be like 30+ or whatever to get, I know eventually everyone will have blcoks n shit from playing so much though...the one guy was a 41 in something thats th ehighest I've seen.

Bummer, but it's inevitable, at least from what I read around, Bungie will actually do something about it.

And SickMike, the weapons are going to get repetitive pretty fast I bet.

Oh and you also forgot the best feature. You could check your stats while you are waiting for your game by pressing back =P.

My sniping skill all depends on the level. Highground im iffy on too much clutter on the map. Snow bound if I get positioned on the outside permiter your all done. Vahalla is more of a team based thing. Red team has an advantage because of map terrain. Get me a sniper on red team and one person to watch my back and I can control the entire map.

I think ATV is going to take a lot away from sniper 1v1s in h3. In h2 6v6 and btb with teams snipers would 1v1, you get outsniped, chances are your team can make sure you get it back and get 2-3 more tries to out-snipe their sniper. H3, organized team, envy kills their sniper we should have 2 people on it with the ATV in a second.

Def dude you did good at sniping and thats a good way to describe highground envy, the cluttery of the level messes me up too. Def I've been practicing driving hog although its fairly easy, some of my gunners have horse vision and dont shoot people directly in front of us for some reason...

do the warthogs drive slower? It seems like it.

but i like sniping in High Grounds i love the clutter of the smaller maps, valhalla is a blast though too :D

ya in halo 3 i always try to get the snip except for snowbound ( i hate snowbound)
im not that bad with im almost as good with it in halo 3 as i am in halo 2
i deffinaly have more noscopes than i do in halo 2
