I used to like SV a lot cause I played with some of them and I also liked there teamwork and the fact they all stayed together for a long time the same was true with Type Z which were also one of my favorites. Now that they both broke up the teams I am struggling to find a new team to root fot. I guess I will watch VOD somemore at the next tourney and pick a new one.

personally i think the ogre's are over-rated.. Walshy seems like he carries his team in every tourney.. He's better off teaming up with the best of other teams. Is Saiyan still the 4th? From what I've seen he goes negative ALOT. My favorite is Lil Poison though that lil buddy rips. I wish PMS played halo..They would ****. Walshy still tops alot of the players I've watched.. He is another one of my favorites.

wowowowowowow n00b. that was a warm-up game. they were only playing for fun. everybody with a BRAIN or HIGH IQ would know that Karma would beat Walshy in a real game. I told you then and I'm telling you now

A few things. I didnt read this whole thread but from the last few posts I hope they were jokes about Karma being better than Walshy at 4 VS 4. Not only is Karms one of the best 1 vs 1 players with one of the best BR's in the game but he is also a member of the second best team in the game. Karma, however, dosent do as well as you might think in 4 vs 4. He was brought on to be a perfect support slayer for Gandhi and it seems that while he does an ok job, he is uaually the reason that Carbon is 2nd. Walshy is CONTINUALLY Clutch for his team and has coe up big when it counted the most.
Also whoever said the Ogres were overrated obviously dosent watch enough MLg and pay attention to the circuit. Ogre 2 is as deadly as anyone with the sniper and while his brother isnt quite on his level, their teamwork when running pairs is unparalelled.
All that being said, im going to tell you who are the most consistent people in the pro circuit in order:
Best pure slayers:
Legit (Big pimpin)
Gandhi (complete pole smoker)
Ogre 2
Killer N
Bonfire
Best Support:
Naded
Ogre 1
Saiyan (former pro :) )
Karma
Strongside
Best Objective:
Shockwav3
Ogre 1
Strongside
HaloGod
Noticing a pattern? BTW my favorite player hands down is my man, Legit. This guy is an absolute monster that dominates everything in his path. He is continually clutch and is always racking up multi kills and locking up maps. PS wouldnt have gotten nearly that far without his extremely agressive slaying capabilities.
Lets talk about teams as a whole now:
Best chemistry and teamwork:
FBI Agency
FB
Carbon
Best objective team:
Carbon
(Special award goes to FBI Agency for their Mid Bomb)
Best Slaying Team:
FB
Perfect Storm (despite Ramby)
Dont get me wrong though. Ramby has his benifits. He is one of the best team captains, communicators and motivators in the game. Not only that but he has been known to be able to scout out some players with very good potential.
End of rant.

Nobody said Karma was better than Walshy at 4v4. And regardless, I do like Karma better than any pro whether it be FFA, 4v4 or whatever.
Eric said Walshy is better than Karma at 1v1 because when we were in Charlotte they played an exhibition game of 1v1 for fun and Walshy won 5-4. I had been hyping up Karma alot up to that point and now Eric had someone he could put in my face.

There have been quite a few people beat Karma at 1 vs 1. It wasnt at an MLg event though so it dosent count for anything.
Legit = God
Build the statues and temples. Ive never seen a more pure beastly machine of a slayer than this guy.

Legit is the man. He was abouslity sick this last weekend.

If he was so good then his teams would be somewhere. He was on SV last year and they really didn't make much noise besides Chicago. He was on Str8 Rippin in Charlotte and didn't do much. Perfect Storm did good in Meadowlands but until he is on a team that is consistently there at the end then he will remain only a great slayer.
If you think Legit is the best slayer ever in Halo 2 or even the Halo series then you seriously need to watch more VoD. And I'm assuming you mean the Halo series because of the fact that you called him GOD and said that there should be temples and statues built for him.

I like Karma but most of his TS games 4v4 confuse the hell out of me. A lot of games he doesn't even break 6-10 kills. So at first I just think he was getting a lot of assists, but then if you notice he really doesnt have any more than his team mates that pull off 10+ kills. I remember watching one of his VoD and he didnt even have a single kill until like 5-6 min into the game. I dont understand him in TS.

Everyone has their favorites though, and im not dogging anyone's opinions. All these guys are pros and they all are incredible at this game. Even the semi pros and pros that I play with are so freaking incredible its unbelivable. I cant imagine how good the top 8 guys are.
GodofDeathKB
06-14-2007, 12:58 PM
SV was a top 8 team
Str8 was a top 8 team
PS is a top 8 team
No matter how good one man is he cant carry the whole team on his shoulders forever. at one point he had 70+ kills over 2 games. His team placed 3rd overall and took Carbon to 5 games before finally losing. While Ramby is a great communicator, he is not even close to being a slayer or support guy and he is only decent at running objectives. Xtrem1st is new to the championship bracket and the team just formed back together, what else could you expect of him? Legit = PIMP

What ya gotta understand about support slaying is that it isnt necessarially about assists. If you shoot at someone and you die before your teammate finishes him off then you dont get the assist. If you shoot someone and their shields come back before they die then someone else kills them you dont get an assist. I give Karma his props, he has one of....if not the best BR in the game. I just dont think he is the best out there overall.

There is nothing to prove he is simply a fantastic player. I have seen all of his montages. If you like double shots I suggest his Mega Mix.
