Well, yesterday I went to Game stop and got 4000 microsoft points to get all the expansion stuff for Oblivion. So far Shivering Isles is actually pretty cool. It adds a huge area with a bunch of dungeons and stuff. I think it was definetly worth the money. I also already went through that one dungeon that was like 250 points or some thing and found that weapon. I thought it was going to be awesome but its not all that great. I found an awesome sword in the new area though, you get it on your first mission, its nice.
So yeah so far I think all of it was worth it, and figured I would post it because I'm not sure if anyone has all of them yet. Oh yeah and I didnt get the horse expansion thing, that just looked like a complete waist.

as far as I know, the Orrery and Horse Armor and Spell Tomes are pretty useless.
Mehrunes Razor is incredible for loot, Frostcrag is good for mages if you don't wanna do the Mages Guild questline to enchant, Deepscorn Hollow is badass and great for evil characters.
I didn't want to get KoTN, who the hell wants to have a good character?

Your charecter isn't good after KoTN your actually reset to evil status once the quest is completed. I've finished everything except Shivering Islse, I just couldn't see spending 50 bucks on it.

It's 30 Envy. I'm in the process of collecting all the loot from the Mehrunes Razor quest. It seriously is the best dungeon in the entire game for loot.

I'm about to get this tomorrow. And you don't buy a whole new expansion for Oblivion? It's in gamerpoints now or something?

Yeah its just a download, that you get with Microsof points. It's like 2400 I think. Its an awesome game, very big and will take a long ass time to complete.

Yeah that dungeon is pretty cool, I still need to go back through it and get all the loot I left. Its gonna take like 3+ trips to get everything out of there, the place is huge.
I just finished the main missions for the Shivering Isles. Now I own it all and its pretty cool, you can summon gaurds to aid you and everything, or have escorts around you when you go places. You can also choose the weather, but I haven't messed around with that yet. There is TONS of good loot in all the dungeons, my favorite has to be that sword though that you get after the first mission.

Interesting. So tomorrow I'll probably get a rechargeable battery pack for my controller, Oblivion, and maybe 3000 gamer points? xp. Wait how much do gamerpoints cost anyways?

Do you guys follow any character builds, or do you just put it in whatever stat you want when you progress through the game?

I always try to get more willpower because it improves your magic a lot. On my second character, I was stupid and didn't choose the wizard as my constellation. That +100 to magic REALLY helps throughout the game, and now I'm constantly trying to get more magic points because I run out so easily.
I always choose dark elf as my race though... they're by far the best.

I have the game, and I'm planning to create a Redguard hand to hand user. I'll add some minor skills around restoration for some diversity =P. LOADING IS TAKING SUPER LONG lol.

I have a habit for starting a lot of new games for some reason, I guess I enjoy trying to level up for some reason.

Are you able to raise all skills if you had the extreme time to be able to? And also, when do you find out what your major skills are, or are they already set once you pick your race?
EDIT: Uh I found out how to chose my major skills. Mwahah. Redguard, hand to hand, with restoration. =P.
Also, did the game freeze at times in the beginning for a while cause it seems like it is for me.
