Um I may have to go to camden this week. It's north camden which is one of the worse parts, and its camden. It's not THAT bad, I've been there before you know the drill just keep to yourself no shifty eyes and do what you have to do and you're fine. This is different though, it's for a baseball game, we're playing homies on the blacktop yo.

I wouldn't make a big deal of it, but when I went before it was with a couple friends and we were um, normal. This team is full of rednecks. Plus, we are going to be driving through many parts of camden, I just dont like the idea of rolling through camden in a redneck entourage, I mean one dude has confederate flags pasted all over his big ass pickup. I mean, I'm not really worried about the race thing, but more about how everyone I'm around is amazingly good at projecting their lack of any street smarts what-so-ever as obvious and obnoxiously as possible.

I may sound overly concerned but for real, its camden. Two people I used to buy from got their stuff from a writer in camden and I have heard stories. It is crazy, shit goes down in broad daylight, dealers /gangsters get shot up in broad daylight. With friends if I want to I can chill in places like that fine, it's just the crowd I have to go with this time that makes me concerned. Not like they need me for the game anyway we pwnz all the city teams annually.

Haha the city teams from philly are so I assume it's the same. They're in our district so we have to play them. Then we play teams like moorestown, which was voted nicest town in the USA or something in some big magazine.

Some of the fields in philly had syringes in the outfield by some water drain, broken bottles all over the field, umm one game there was a series of gunshots that lasted about 2-3 minutes, one game in a nicer part of camden when I was a lot younger some guy got jumped 5 minutes after the game.

That could be a really funny movie.

Never heard of camden. Although in the ghetto in Boston (Mission Hill, Dorchester) I actually don't feel akward. If you keep to yourself and not act like your afraid they won't bother you.

Although we don't sport confedirate flags. Good luck with that one :P

Camden and Philadelphia aren't the nicest places around. I live 20 minutes from there, and everyday you here about shootings, murders.

I've been there and to bad parts of philly before and for the most part that works. Haha camden is so bad that if it's after 5PM and you are at a red light, if you look both ways and there is no traffic you can legally run the light.
