Ok so my b-day was last wensday and I have been saving up all my money for a 360. So along the way to a restaurant to celebrate ANOTHER friends birthday we decided to kill some time at the Gamecrazy across the street. Being the HUGE gamer I am I decided to talk nerd to the store manager, he knew every word I said. :D
To cut the long discussion short eventually it led into a used 360 he had in the display case. I told him im buying mine new and I don't have the money for it yet. However he affirmend me that 360 has never even been turned on before. Of course I thought he was bluffing, but after he showed me the whole hardware the sticker that is revealed on the disc tray was still in place w/o any thumb prints. And the cords that came with it were still unwrapped, and the hardware left no scratches on it whatsoever. The man was not lieing. It appeared the man who bought it opened it up, but unfortunately his wife wasn't too fond of it, so he had to return it. He assured the manager he never even got to play it.
But before I could give it some thought the manager than said he would give me a copy of G.o.W and an extra controller along FOR FREE. Thats part of the Game crazy deal~!
After those words escaped his mouth I knew for a fact I could not pass up. So I immediately called my dad and after describing him the details and the location of the store he agreed to buy me this console. It was a deal of a lifetime. Who would have thought a night out to eat would have resulted in something I was saving up for, but yet to have the money. I guess I will pay my dad what I was saving up. My dad even talked to the manager and got his phone # to call for an extra 360 in case if mine goes on the fritz of it's warrenty. :D
